I posted before about Wenger was in portugal speaking to Porto fc. My source thought he was speaking with Hulk but he was speaking with Radamel Falcao(check my last timing i got the story before anyone else that Arsenal were in negoations with porto). Arsenal will get either of Benzema or Falcao, Benzema has already agreed terms with arsenal but Real Madrid do not want to let him go unless they get Aguero. Arsenal have also put in bids for Christopher samba(10 million), and Mamadhou sakho(traore and squallaci p/e + 10 million euros).

please everyone sh*t up about Downing to Arsenal. sooooo not going to happen. its hilarious that as soon as a story appears in the media people are lightning fast to announce that Arsenal are going to buy them no matter how unrealistic it is. The Nugent ones nearly made me die I laughed so hard.
Ricardo Alvarez to Arsenal was reported in the Metro. . a FREE newspaper. as soon as this was reported don't you think all the other media would be fast to find some type of confirmation that he has signed and then published the story aswell? The Sun would have been the first to do this. the story has been dead since.
Benzema is a possibility but as Benzema's agent has stated. . no contact has been made from Arsenal. a deal being struck is still a long way away. majority of players are now away on holiday so transfer announcements are going to be quiet for a week or 2.
I know you guys are excited when you read such stories but just don't get your hopes up until you hear something concrete. ESPECIALLY when it comes to Arsenal. a club who operate more quietly than the MI5

Arsenal has the money to buy them. What do you know and think, ed? {Ed002's Note - Arsenal may have gone back for Sakho as they previously baulked at the price. Hazard signed a new contract with Lille and if he cannot get a move that suits him (Barcelona and Real Madrid were his preference) then he could stay and play in the Champions League next year. Juventus are very keen but cannot offer football at the highest level right now. Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus, Real Madrid, Spurs and Barcelona have shown interest or admiration for the player. I would not be surprised to see Manchester United throw their hat in to the ring as well. If he does move and I was pushed for an answer, I think he could end up in Italy, possibly at Inter. The recent Liverpool bid rumours seem to be little more than the recycling of the story of Damian Comolli asking to be kept informed of any movements for the player and this is several weeks old. If it were Arsenal or Liverpool I would say Arsenal.}

With Nasri and Fabregas most likely to be leaving, Arsenal are planning a bid for Kaka as he is out of sorts at Madrid and they want him off the wage bill. And with an interview on sky sports at a recent adidas promotion he announced he admired the way arsenal played, and how they were more of a united team than the likes of big spenders (THE LIKES OF MADRID, CITY AND CHELSEA.) AW has pulled out of the running for Parker (thank god) and now rumours are starting about going after Downing. Nasri could end up at Man U, possibly Carrick + cash, he is worth about £25 million at the mo so player + £20 would be the most likely if it happens. If I was AW I would be asking for Welbeck, smalling or Cleverley though!

Its good to know wenger has dropped out of the scott parker race. Hes not a top 4 club player. Also 30 and constantly injured.
Cahill is wanted by city for 20 million + two defenders going to the reebok stadium, we don't need a 20 million player who is actually worth 10.
We don't need ashley young, whose skill set is lower than nani and arshavin ( if Man utd are getting him please sign him and sell nani)
I do understand the sale of cesc this summer which is inevitable, if he does stay with us brilliant but i think the romance is over.
