Team for Man City midweek. (Yes I am already over the draw).
Goal keeper is kind of a tough one. Do we keep in Fabianksi who has had next to no experience this season to face off against Man City's infinite Firepower or do we choose Szczesny who will obviously give us more reliability? I am going to say Wenger will choose Fabianski because if he is not going to get game time in the Carling cup he will never get game time and we don't want to neglect our players.
The defense is a problem as well. But I eventually came up with Djourou at right back Koscielny and Miquel as centre back paring and Santos at left back.
I think Santos will be able to handle playing there again and we can't afford to makeshift the defense too much.
Coquelin and Frimpong as always should start CC games as the two DMs. they complement each other perfectly and both have shown they can handle the big time.
Diaby as CM as I reckon this is the perfect game to bed him into. He looked good in the last two games he has come onto and I reckon he will show us why Wenger has so much faith in him this season.
Then on the wings I would put Benayoun on the left for a bit of experience and the Ox on the right. Would be a combination of experience and devastating pace.
Up front play Park. I really like the look of him especially against Bolton he really caught my eye and I think him and Benayoun will pair well.

Looks like a team that will give a decent account for themselves. It is obvious that the Midfield 3 need a rest and we can't risk RVP for a League cup match.
By the way posting this early because I won't be posting on here for a few weeks as I am off away.
Keep up the good posts and hope we continue our good run of form.

Santos won't play. Can bet you that. squillaci will come in to partner kos. or meade will play on the left.

Do managers have a quick word over the phone or something before games like this to prevent one team showing up with youngsters and the other a full team and running riot? Or is it all a calculated risk?
Btw that team looks about right, but I would say Chamakh not Park up front.

Chamak I think not. He is under performing. Park would definately be up front. I think arshavin in the wing to as he was great against Bolton and should start to get his form back!
Chamak will start but Diaby won't. The Arsenal web-site says he tweaked his ankle on saturday and is hurt again.
