{Ed002's Note - Niang was of interest when much younger and there will be no intention of selling him. Andre Silva has been looked at by both Aesenal and, on a number of occasions, by Manchester United. His asking price if he were available might well put Arsenal off.}

Thanks for the reply Ed, do you expect us to buy in January? I can't see it myself.
{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has ceratinly had scouts looking at a lot of players and they still have the lengthy list of youngsters from last year. January is difficult as clubs don't want to sell and those players in European Competition will likely not want to move. I would not rule out Arsenal bringing someone in during January.}

{Ed002's Note - The list leading in to the summer looked like this: Monaco's Kylian Mbappé, Lech Poznan's Dawid Kownacki, Chelsea's Domingos Quina (went to WHU), RB Leipzig defender Lukas Klostermann, Josh Tymon, Partizan's Andrija Zivkovic (went to Benfica), AZ Alkmaar's Myron Boadu (Ajax pushing as well), West Ham's Reece Oxford (staying at WHU for now), Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez (sign new contract, so probably off the list). Spezia Calcio's Umar Sadiq (sold to Roma and loaned to Bologna), Dinamo Zagreb's Josip Brekalo (moved to Wolfsburg), Nottingham Forest's Oliver Burke (moved to RBL), Leicester's Ben Chilwell (although interest waned when he signed a new contract), Celtic's Kieran Tierney. Velez Sarsfield's Maxi Romero is a child who could not move for, realistically, another year and has injury issues that would need to be assured as clear before any move to Arsenal - but they will push to agree an early deal. Marseille's Bilal Boutobba (moved to Sevilla. Marseille's Boubacar Kamara remains of interest to Arsenal. Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon - the battle will be when he is able to sign a professional contract. I understand from talking with someone involved with the process of identifying potential young targets for Arsenal that there are a number of young players that Arsenal have been scouting recently (such as Otavio and goalkeeper Alban Lafont). They have quite a long list of young players from mainland Europe that they are looking at and any young English player with expectations growing is always going to be of interest, such as Bolton's Rob Holding who was also on the list for the summer just past and Arsenal did manage to buy.}
