Maybe that Tottenham take him plus cash in exchange for bale? They know that he'll make up for bales goals plus some. Madrid have no incentive to sell to us. The only advantage we held over juve was we could offer full payment but if Tottenham decide to take the offer it doesn't really matter what we offer them does it?

Hig won't go to spurs he wants cl football and they don't have it so its also down to him and can any see him picking them over us

Re above. If Tottenham are tempted in any way by the Higuian + cash for Bale "carrot" that is being dangled by RM, just watch the valuation of Higuian jump up and that for Bale drop dramatically.
That's the way they do business.

I hope that we do get Higuain, however it is remarkable that Ancellotti has been at RM one day and already snapped up ISCO, yet we have been dithering for ages and little progress over this deal. Not sure who the decision maker is but they need to speed things up or we will be in the same boat as last season, grabbing the bargains on the last day of the sale!

Madrid announced signing Isco yesterday.

I love how people reply to Malaga Gooner with questions like "so how are things like with the Rooney negotiations?" As if he's a super agent or Wenger himself!

He is, like us, just another gooner surfing the net desperately looking for Arsenal transfer news.

He throws out comments like Higuain had a medical Wednesday night when he's not even in the country in the hope of claiming some insider knowledge!

Just so people know, higuain doesn't have to be in the country to have his medical. He can have it done anywhere in the world. Just like podolski or navas.

I had to get up early this morning around 6amish- heard about it then- that was way before 9am! Does that make me a super insider now as well?> hehe

Someone's humour detector got turned off.

Latest development is that Ancellotti wants to keep Hig, "he is an important part of RM future"

Isco is not a striker, so there's no connection with higuain situation.

I have not seen anywhere that quotes Ancellotti saying anything.

We have to be patient people, papers/media will speculate and make stuff up. let's wait until a RELIABLE source makes comment.

Why are people giving him any attention? No doubt if this deal does eventually materialize he will claim to be the one that 'broke it first'.

Most sources are reporting that Higuain is expected at London Colney on monday so yet again malaga talks rubbish!

Im losing belief in this transfer with each passing day. Some one some where is holding this deal up from happening be it on the player's side or his club.

Malaga is just going out on a limb. if it happens, he will say he broke the news and take all the glory for an assumption.

This is all the hallmarks of "Mata" all over again. Why do other clubs get their business done so much quicker than us. Surely if we have the money we should get the transfer done or are the club yet again making up the story about all the money available just to sell season tickets!

If Higuain had his Arsenal medical yesterday and 'Malaga Gooner' knows about it, I don't know about anyone else but personally I would imagine a newspaper journalist might have also got wind of this.

Higuain to arsenal has stalled due to RM offering him plus £25m to napoli for cavani. Napoli are very interested and are trying to sort out a suitable contract package for the striker with his reps.

Once again we dwindle on our dealings and loose out.
Why is it almost every other team can identify and capture thier targets in such a small period i. e tevez to juve or all prem purchases so far.

I believe this is due to a poor negotiations team and not having a director of football at the club to help sort out transfers.

I'm sorry you clearly state that the reason the transfer stalled is due to Madrid wanting to use him to get Cavani. Where was the mistake in Arsenal? they made a bid and they are told to wait till real madrid has signed a new manager. They are the one who is yet to sanction the move, so why it is the Arsenal's staffs mistakes?

1. This isn't even a for sure thing, so why are you freaking out like Higuian has scored goals for Napoli already?

2. It's eventually going to be Higuian's choice where he goes, so he can turn Napoli's contract offer down

3. Don't blame the club for something they can't control.

But I heard Higuain already signed with Arsenal a while ago. They just haven't announced it yet.

I speculated based on the interview with Higuain's brother yesterday but it was just a feeling. You on the other hand seem to just be putting down your feelings as fact which is just pointless. What is the source of your info?

How long have we been in so called advanced talks and still not sealed the deal?
How long have we been known to be interested? Weeks? Months? Yet other teams complete thier deals within days.

It is the same with every single transfer we make.

If Arsene wanted Higuain that badly he would have got him. There is more to this transfer than meets the eye and that the media are trying to make of it. Wait till the end of July

Fellow gooners you can take this post with a pinch of salt. Napoli' eccentric owner has been quoted saying 'napoli do not want cash plus player just cash', chelsea have had a £49.3m offer accepted by napoli and man city are now interested in him again after a stella performance against brasil last night. Madrid want bale and will need extra cash like the sale of wantaway striker higuain for £22m for instance with cash up front. i'm not saying we will get higuain but I can guarentee he will not be playing in italy next season.

I've read that it was Di Maria + £25mil not Hig. He will still be joining us.

I'm just keeping the faith we will get him despite som last minute nerves!

Should it not happen, I'll be the grown man crying in the North Bank come August!
