Talk of da town is Nasri would put pen to paper and extend his contract 3 years paying him £75k per week.
but his agent is demanding £90k per week making him top earner, his agent is a greedy bas*ard. Wenger wants nasri to commit to a 5 year contract and Nasri wouldn't consider 5 years even at 90k. Something will done but expect Nasri to have a new agent very soon.

liam brady is in the spanish capital right now, my friend has told me he was with sergio canales's agent they were eating at la dorada apperently AW is very intrested in canales and wants him for £4/5 million which is just shy of there asking price.

I was reading a magazine which said arsenal got to former barca players toral and bellerin. they are both sixteen and have been said to have a lot of potential. they where gaving bids by man u, chelsea and a villa but they decided to go to ARSENAL

Is it just me or does anyone else think Reo-Coker may end up at Arsenal, wouldn't be a half bad addition. also we were in for him a few years ago & he has established himself this season also taking the arm band from Petrov through his injuries. {Ed007's Note - I have a sneaking suspicion Reo-Coker might wait to see where Martin O'Neill ends up}

I told you yesterday that a bid in region of 10 million would be put on Samba before the press said it this morning. Also i was right about our offer to porto. There is something huge going to happen in next week. The war of power inside arsenal is forcing Kroenke to win the fans over. There will be at least 2 wordclass signings. One will be Falcao/benzema and the other is unknown. My source says that the fee will be over the 20million mark in both the signings.

The thinking around Arsenal on the Samir Nasri situation is now that the interest from United is real but not particularly reciprocated by Nasri. Nasri's agent leaked the "interest" as a way to try and force Arsenal into a higher offer. Nasri still wants to sign with Arsenal he is just has a greedy agent. I expect a deal to be thrashed out soon but if things do not get worked out in the next few weeks then he will leave and it will be his greedy agent we have to thank, not Nasri.

The ongoing transfer saga of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin will be concluded early next week as Southampton expect to have his replacement (expected to be Leeds Utd's Robert Snodgrass in place. The deal is £8 million and there is NO sell on fee. The insistence of a 40% clause is what scuppered the Jan deal and this has been waived.

Just watched Ricky Alvarez play in the Libertadores semi. He is a clone of Kaka. Very elegant on the ball. Smooth passed and great link play. Ideal with a striker like RVP. Fast but holds the ball well, does not go down easy. Plays behind the strikers but operates off the wings. This guy is class. Would have liked to see him fire off some shots, but the guy is definitely a talent.
Whoever said cross between Pastore and Di Maria couldn't be more correct.
I expect him to be called up to the Albiceleste very soon.

With Lille signing Dmitri Payet from Saint Etienne this week, that all but confirms the availability of Gervinho, who Wenger has been a long term fan of (work permit stopped him joining from Le Mans in the past) so the probability of this deal happening has gone up greatly.
Alvarez deal not dead, we've scouted him, but Velez would want 10m+ apparently.
