We really should have hit at least a couple more, but I was happy with the 3-0 scoreline. Hopefully, we can beat WBA at the weekend to secure 4th place, before we play Norwich. If we do secure 4th place at the weekend, I would like to see us give some sqaud players a chance against Norwich. Such as: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Hayden, Vermaelen, Monreal, Abu Diaby, Sonago, Gnabry (if fit), Zelalem, Rosicky, Kallstrom & Wilshere (if fit)

Fabianski will be playing in final so I'd keep him benched until then.
He's played every fa cup game, I'd hate to see him not make the final

Another bit of news I've found suggests that Suarez has demanded that he be allowed to hold talks with Real Madrid at the end of the season. Could mean good news for us if we're looking to land Benzema.

Ed's any truth to this rumour?

No one can doubt Suarez commitment this season but I think his commitment to Liverpool's cause will be over this summer for sure

Eds or anyone in the know regarding transfers really. Does us finishing 4th and having to qualify for the champions league actually really effect transfers that much?

i mean, we consistently qualify every year, and are usually far superior to other teams in the qualifying stages, yet we do business late in the summer, apparently because of this?

or are there other variables in the mix that don't get mentioned? Wengers/ the boards preference etc?

I think it does mate yes. I posted similar yesterday. To me it's a no brainer in attracting top players to the club. It's not like saying we are in the Champions League it's saying we have a chance of qualifying to get in it. So while we are waiting to actually get in the CL I believe we may be missing out.
But what can we do it is what it is again.
