I don't know why we don't go for lewandowski I know his deal to united sounds close but 80k a week we could surely afford that and I'd prefer him to ba or Adrian or even villa and 18 mil aswell not exactly miles out of our price range what does everyone think?

Walcott wants 100k right? Sell Walcott and sign Lewandowski.

Agree1 Disagree2

He wants to play for Man U, if he wanted to come to Arsenal he would say so, same with VP, he wanted to leave, so even if we keep him till end of season he would have walked and gone to Man U anyway, 24 million had to be done....

Agree0 Disagree1

100% agree mate he is showing he's a top class player and when the fans say they don't expect ridiculous signings but top quality affordable players who would drastically improve our team this is a perfect example.

Players as good as Lewandowski, as versatile as Honda who makes every position seem to look like hi favourite, players like Micah Richards who we could surely buy for under £20m...these are the sorts of signings we should be prepared to make.

Micah Richards?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Micah Richards would be a signing, but I think he is a city fan, and they are playing better than us at the moment. Honda would be a shout, Wellington Nem would also add some creativity and we need a Centre back, left back and a big midfielder like Diaby, but not always injured

Agree0 Disagree0

I worry for any football fan who thinks Micah Richards is not a top class RB or an improvement on what we've got here. Just saying.

Metal Gooner

Agree0 Disagree1

Richards is a top class defender but he is not an improvement on what we have.

Agree1 Disagree0

Micah Richards was a "boyhood" arsenal fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Micah Richards is infact an arsenal fan he mentioned it a few years ago when we were rumoured to buy him, and anyone who says he wouldn't improve the squad is clearly blind last season he was the best rb in the prem his breaks from defense were top class and he's not exactly awful at defending either he played cb at he Olympics and Mancini doesn't like his cos he's not Italian worth a punt aswell

MOUSSA SISSOKO, a 23 y/o midfielder from Toulouse is looking likely to sign in January for a fee of around £10 million.

I personally think this would be great as he is a vital part of the French team now, and is very similar to the glass legs Diaby.

JW {Ed001's Note - Commolli saw him as the long term replacement to Gerrard when he was at Liverpool.}

MOUSSA SISSOKO has never been at liverpool u thinking of player who joined juve yrs ago lol and ur a ed {Ed002's Note - He is referring to when Comolli was at Liverpool.}

Love Sissoko. Runs for days on end and is strong; at the right price an excellent holding MF Arsenal's been crying out for.

accroding to the schalke04 official website: lewis holtby will quit schalke at the end of the season and will NOT renew his contract!

would be a nice one...

*gonegoing* {Ed002's Note - Schalke have confirmed that they have made an offer to Lewis Holtby of a new contract but are aware that there will be interest from clubs wishing to speak to the player in January and getting him to agree a deal might be difficult - as is proving to be the case. Aston Villa has added to the previously known interest from Valencia, Everton and Arsenal and unconfirmed rumours suggest that both Manchester United and Liverpool may also look to Holtby. Perhaps the most interesting option that he may have is Inter Milan who most definately has an interest after stepping back from any deal for their first choice midfield player. However, Inter are being advised by Di Frisco that Holtby is perhaps two years from being ready for such a move but in my view it remains a possible destination - although they are looking at Belhanda as well. There might be a chance to tempt him to sign a pre-contract in January.}
