Many people appear to post on this site in the hope that what they say may actually happen and hence they be proved right! This particular post probably doesn't fall into that category as it is so outrageously absurd! Arsene Wenger and the entire Arsenal board are world renowned for getting every last pound of value in in each transfer so why in earth would he swap a �20+ mill midfielder for a player who struggles to get into the England U21's on a regular basis! I don't actually rate Song as I feel he lacks discipline to sit in the holding role he excels at, but....well the post is so ridiculous it doesn't need any more said! Utter Garbage

I would love it for this rumour to be true as Song is massively overrated and was lazy liability last season. I really hope Song is shipped out Denilson (who is superior player technically) is kept.

From the Greek press: Olympiakos have drawn up a 1 million Euro a year contract for Sebastien Squillaci, who is expected to leave Arsenal via a mutual termination of his contract.

Sounds more likely to me than the rumoured move to Bastia, as Olympiakos can offer Champions League football.

Dont think there will be a functioning league in greece next season. If reports are to be true, most clubs havent paid there players for along while now.

Ed Bastia deal isn't dead at all. Squillaci will now probably look at both offers.

He was in Corsica again, discussing with Bastia officials, on Tuesday - So something must have come up between the clubs or player and club.

I am sure he will sign for the Toot, the clubs will come to an arrangement over the percentage owed to Vertonghen. In any event, he will not come to Arsenal as he is predominantly left-sided, where we have two left backs & two CB's who prefer playing on the left-hand side.

I like the way people still say they think he will sign for the others even when the man himself has said he won't.

I think you have misunderstood the grammatical function of a question mark... I am asking whether people have seen him at RB. I also never said I think we will sign him, all I said was if he can cover the whole back line he would be a great buy... If he can cover the back line he is basically nailed on for half our games considering our injury record!!
