Arsenal to sign shinki kagawa for 13 million and he will get 85k a week. Arsene Wenger persuaded him to choose us over man utd

MY SOURCE: TWITTER -@theclosetgooner
this is a very reliable source because i remember this guy saying that we would get podolski months back before even the press knew {Ed001's Note - wasn't everyone saying it months back? Even I was, and I have very little in the way of Arsenal links.}

Believable22 Unbelievable4

I think he will come

Agree0 Disagree0

If that source proves to be correct, i will get circumsiced!
kagawa has agreed personel terms with united, probaly more than 85k a week, and they are more likely to win a trophy next year then us, and they are offering dortmund 16 million.
why on earth would he choose us?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wish it was true and could become true but agree with ED001 {Ed001's Note - it could well be true, but the source needs a lot more verification to count as trusted, for me. Certainly it is between United and Arsenal to get him right now, it is very easy to put your eggs in one basket and take a chance when it is 50/50 and be seen as a good source.}

Agree0 Disagree0

False, man utd had a 13mil offer rejected why would they accept ours, unless perhaps we offer more upfront?

bs18

Agree0 Disagree0

Do people really just comeon here and invent link's with player's and story's?
my source has told me that messi is unsettled at a club that wins to many trophys and wants a change.. wenger is preparing a 140 million bid! i swear on my mothers shoe laces this is true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think if we do sign kagawa this and podolski will be enough to persuade robin to stay also i think we need another dm so song can rome more

Agree0 Disagree0

Its actually 14 mil arsenal have made a bid for

Agree0 Disagree0

It'll take a sight more than Podolski & A.N Other to make RVP sign a new contract. A world class defensive midfielder and a left back who can actually defend for starters, plus competent cover in a number of positions where the current stand-ins would struggle to get a game in the Blue Square Conference. If a condition of RVP staying is that AFC show their "ambition" in the transfer market this summer, then that would require a spending spree unprecedented in AW's reign (or anyone else's for that matter). The form book suggests that just isn't going to happen, so I'm afraid RVP will be on his way.

Agree0 Disagree0

14mil + bendter mayb?

Agree0 Disagree0

Kagawa will be the buy of the season, globally, IMO, if we can get him. He is incredible and probably the reason Dortmund were champions on the attacking end.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a thought but seeing as bendtner is being touted by dortmund (supposedly) perhaps cash + bendtner is what could clinch us this deal. Sounds a wenger-esque move to me anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe if we can sign shinji kagawa and llorente i would be the happiest arsenal fan ever!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just out of interest, which of the Eds has the strongest arsenal links?

Thanks

OTBAG {Ed001's Note - I would say 027 and 030.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If we made a bid, wouldn't it likely include bendtner? He wants to go, we want to sell, Dortmund are keen on him and he'd probably fit in well there.
It's a deal made in heaven!

D

Agree0 Disagree0

I know that a deal involving bendtner + cash interests dortmund a lot.

we will see...

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like its possible... Wenger has a massive legacy still in Japan.

We have Podolski, Mertesacker and Wenger who all speak German. Kagawa's only other language.

We then have Wenger who speaks fluent Japanese and Ryo, who is also involved in the national set up now so would no doubt know Kagawa in some way.

Manchester United would probably look more likely in terms of Trophies (didn't win anything this season however) but we look like an attractive place to go.

I could see this one happening, and would love it.

Gilo

Agree0 Disagree0

Strong reports suggesting a deal has been struck with United. £12m rising to £17.5m in possible add-ons. I guess we will know soon enough lads.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh..it shinki kagawa not shinji kagawa. so just trust it. lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Kicker in Germany have reported today that Man Utd are close to finalising a 15m deal with add-ons for Shinji Kagawa.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love Shinki Kagawa, much better than his brother Shinji, but not quite on the same level as their cousin Slinki ;)

Seriously though, saying that anyone on Twitter is a "very reliable source" is stretching reality somewhat.

Agree0 Disagree0

BBC quoting Kicker mag saying Kagiwa deal to utd is almost done 15 mill euros

Agree0 Disagree0

You know it all rubbish when you read the words my source is twitter

Agree0 Disagree0

Gilo

What are you talking about?

On justarsenal it reports that arsenal are intrested in 22 year old spanish striker Joselu. He currently plays for Real Madrid B but wenger believes he'll be a star in the future.

Believable28 Unbelievable10

Yeah, but we don't need anymore stars for the future, we the likes of the ox

Agree0 Disagree0

I told my pal we were trying to sign a 22yr old forward from real madrid b! my mate said, he must be half decent if he's in madrids reserve team.. i said no.. its a different team in spains divison 2!
he said, LOL a 22yr old from spains division 2! you gooners are mugs for putting up with wenger.
i just looked at the floor..
on another note i won a 5er on a scratch card.. forgot how nice it feels to win something!

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^

Did someone else give you the money to buy the scratch card? Now you now what it feels like to win something with someone else's money just like Chel and ManC.
Grow up. Support the club or jog on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes ok but its all just a f***ing rumour wenger knows talent when he see's it

Agree0 Disagree0

No need to tell your pal then in future

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I'm sure Wenger thinks he'll be a star for the future, just as Mourinho and the rest of the RM hierarchy probably do. That's why he is in the stiffs at the minute behind Benzema and Higuain. When they begin to lose form or need a rest, then Joselu will gradually be brought through for more experience.
Why do people come up with such senseless rumours in the first place? At the first match of next season there is no guarantee that any of A.O.C.,Coquelin or Frimpong will feature. Does that mean that Arsenal do not regard them as the nucleus of the team in say 5 years time. If we want to find pearls for the future we have to find them early in unfashionable sides in lower divisions, or their equivalent overseas. You are wasting everybody's time expecting R.M. or Barca or say Milan not to recognise the potential of a player in their own reserve team. Use a bit more savvy the next time!

Agree0 Disagree0

Im fed up with lack of ambition, let alone trophy's too! anybody who bad mouth's wenger is a mug who knows f**k all about football?!
if it is down to wenger and not the board why we are not buying the players we obviously need because of his 'principles', then i dont think hes cut out for the job!7 baron years is beyond a joke.
becoming in-excuseable, sameold dribble every year.. we have a big squad, a young squad..
united have a young squad, every team gets significent injurys not just us. why are we being fobbed off? ticket prices are up again, my silver membership up by 10 quid, will the extra money generated go towards investment in the team? im a life long arsenal fan, 30 odd years, ive been through every emotion as a result, we have been sucsessful and we have not been sucsessful in that time, but of late our mediocre performances and lack of trophys i feel has been caused directly by the people behind the scenes. i question wenger now where as before i followed blindly. anybody feel the same? did'nt mean to rant but started and it just developed, unlike the majority of our , lower league worthy signings, bought on the cheap!

Agree0 Disagree0

He's played 2 games for the first team real madrid and scored 2

Agree0 Disagree0

If you don't know, Joselu is a stud, and is going to be a big player...

US Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Well what about Barca, they knew how good Fabregas would be and still sold him to us...Benz may last a lot longer, you never know. What I'm saying is he's not a little kid any more, he's 22, he might be dying for a move. {Ed001's Note - Fabregas was not sold to Arsenal, he was too young to sign a professional contract in Spain and was offered one by Arsenal and took it. Barca could do nothing about it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Joselu is a stud, and is going to be a big player.... That is just it he is going to be a big player in 2,3 or 4 years, thats no good for us!! where are all these studs we brought 4 years back! a nuff with the kids. Lets bring in some quality players, 7 years is to long!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2012 21:01:24
I remember Joselu from the u19 Euros a couple of years ago, he's tall, quick and a good finisher. I suppose he's an alternative to Giroud.

Looked a great prospect but has struggled to get into the Real Madrid first team.

This video has some of his best moments for Real Madrid Castilla.

kagawa has a 40% chance of joining us, hazard will join chelsea, hoilett will sign for spurs and im confident m'vila will sign for arsenal (new vieria) that will be the latest big signings

Believable32 Unbelievable27

Ahhh, the new Vieira. How many times have we heard that one? (Abou Diaby, Alex Song anyone?) Let's (a) see whether the Manager/Board actually bother to open the tea caddy and make a worthwhile offer for the player, and (b) give him a season in the Prem before we start with comparisons with the great PV4.

Agree0 Disagree0

Very logical

Agree0 Disagree0

I think kagawa will go to man utd, now that they have missed Hazard.

That or modric is going to man utd.

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow mate would have been nice if you would have quoted redarmy49

hams

Agree0 Disagree0

Kagawa has agreed personal terms with United. Just fee to be agreed.

Agree0 Disagree0

1 we dont need Mvila 2 if we were gonna get a holding midfeider capoue would be better 3 we need someone more attacking in midfeild like hazard( btw i do know hes signed for chelsea cough cough MUG)

Agree0 Disagree0

M'vila will sign, kagawa seems 50/50 would be a great addition he has a much better record than hazard! Adam11

Agree0 Disagree0

This is completely stolen from @redarmy49 and @bfairthorne,what b****cks

Agree0 Disagree0

Capoue is like Coquelin, he chases the play all over the field. We need a more disciplined DM like M'Vila.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hazard joining Chelski is now confirmed, 35 mill ,6 mill to agent , 170. 000 a week ,no wonder we didn't sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

28 May 2012 14:26:56
Weird how rumours of other clubs come true, but never for us. Unless of course that's a rumour that someone's leaving.

I am not saying it is true, but if the Hazard to Chelsea rumour is true, then I can see this:

Hazard to Chelsea - Kagawa to Man U - Behanda to City - who do we get?

Believable27 Unbelievable21

In that case we could be looking at Belhanda or Martin

asyd

Agree0 Disagree0

Benayoun? A proven premiership talent! Yay!

Agree0 Disagree0

Moussa Dembele

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh...you go Belhanda going to ManCity..sorry missed that

but anyway - why oh why are people so often keen on the most overhyped and trendy players

come on...use your imagination...do you really think that only those players that are medialized at this moment have enough worth?

example:
what happened to Keisuske Honda?
this guy was red hot last summer...now he isnt? did he lose his class since then?

I do believe Arsene Wenger and his scouting staff have much better knowledge of potential transfer targets...so guys...give it a break.
Don't nag that we don't buy all the currently overhyped players - only time will tell if they were worth the 'grand price'.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh...and one more thing.

The fact that 'Arsenal Rumors' do not come true as often as for the other big clubs...
Well - that's just because Arsenal tends to do their business very privately - which actually means better deals for us as we dont get driven into bidding wars for our real targets.

Dont know about you guys but as much as I enjoy this 'rumors game' ... I do enjoy the rationality behind the way my team goes on with their business much more.

Asyd

(Ed...please merge my last two post if possible, to save on post count...thanks)

Agree0 Disagree0

Benayoun...

Agree0 Disagree0

Martin is taying put. belhanda has said he wants to stay with montpellier another season.. if he does go anywhere, it will be city most likely as hazrd will most likely go chelski!

Agree0 Disagree0

We have wilshere back next season , surely a def midfielder is more important?

Agree0 Disagree0

Michael Owen is available and Drogba

Agree0 Disagree0

We get kalou and n'zonzi! yay, good times.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe players just don't want to come here anymore...?

Interesting points from Asyd, but poor example: Honda was injured for many months that's why he fell off the radar.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop being miserable we will get someone im certain

Agree0 Disagree0

Belhanda to city?? For how much?

That is a painful miss....

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Who do we get? Well if form is nto go by we lose our best player (this year RVP), spend most of the proceeds on shareholder dividends, then panic and buy an unknown French West African with "bags of potential", a kid from Blue Square Conference who can run quite fast, a ponderous French defender from Ligue Deux and a combination of hand-me-downs, has beens and never weres from other Premiership sides who will be killing themselves laughing at us.

Agree0 Disagree0

We will buy someone that has not been mentioned online, this is a certainty.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get kalou and n'zonzi, i will become a rugby fan and rvp will defo become another teams player! transfer periods are a time where you should feel excitment at the prospect of getting good players in who can potentially help your team to tropys.. what id give to have usamanov at the top and for our club to be linked with big names.. links that actually could materialise, not links that never happen!i think i have enough faith left for 1 last season with wenger.. and who comes in for us during the summer will effect my wenger faith-levels. i dont like nearly winning stuff, i hate all my pals who aint gooners saying we are useless.

Agree0 Disagree0

Take me. Iv improved in the position behind the striker..lol

Dont worry Wilshere will be like a new signing. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate, at least if you become a rugby fan you can start supporting Stoke. The rest of us will be stuck listening to lies like the "Wilshere will be like a new signing" one quoted above. Spot on. They'll probably try that one on us again when Frimpong comes back from injury.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha loving all the responses! I know it's not imaginative to just look at the players that the media say we might be looking at, but two things, firstly it is still the case that those players are usually very very good, so it seems logical and therefore believable that Arsenal would be serious about them. Secondly, sometimes it's just coincidence- I've been a fan of Kagawa since he first joined Dortmund as I've been a slight fan of theirs for years. Same as Arteta, I've wanted Kagawa to join us since I first saw him, so it may seem unimaginative to you but it's more genuine than just seeing his name on these pages and going along with it after looking at his youtube videos.

As for Belhanda to City, that is just me going along with the media spec, I'll admit that. I heard they were keen, and who else would they go for if not someone like Sneijder?

Agree0 Disagree0

We got Eisfeld in January, so stop dreaming :)))))))

If van Persie leaves, Sagna should become captain.

TobyTheGooner

--------------------------------------------

Thats what i had been saying mate! Not sure now though with injuries etc...

Only other candidates for me are: Vermaelen, Koscielny, Arteta, Song (Szczesny, Wilshere in the future)

Thoughts guys?

Ben

Believable20 Unbelievable13

Verm for me. And Ben, Song, really?? Half the time he doesnt even seem interested to be out on the pitch.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermaelen for me - already vice captain and has stated he enjoys the responsibility - if RVP goes - and who knows whats happening with that circus - i reckon Tommy V will be made captain immediately.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give it to Diaby

Agree0 Disagree0

It depends on who wants to leave next!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermaelen looks like he was born to be a captain and he's already vice captain. Why should Sagna be captain? He's the quietest guy on the pitch! Song? No way!

After last season we all could see Wilshere is set to be our captain and maybe one day captain of England too, but due to his injury Vermaelen's in the frame and tbh he deserves it. Even if RVP stays I'd like to see Vermaelen as Captain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermaelen

Agree0 Disagree0

Song if he stays as after RVP he has been our best player for a number of years. It might also encourage him to stay

Agree0 Disagree0

No vermaelen should be with koscielny or him as vice

Agree0 Disagree0

Vincent kompany is arsenal's captain LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

We should give it to a rubbish player like djourou or squid.. our captains always seem to leave! could be a plus if 1 of those went

Agree0 Disagree0

The Arsenal captaincy should be based on the potential candidates attributes - 1) Should have a minimum of two years experience at the club 2) Should be fiercely loyal to the club 3) Should be a true leader and motivate the team constantly. 4) Should have experience. Therefore...Arteata - No. Wilshere - Not yet. Koscielny - No. Sagna - Worthy. Vermaelen - Most suitable. Isn't embarassing that we HAVEN'T got a nailed on captain?

Agree0 Disagree0

We DO have a nailed on Captain, his name is RVP. I get what your saying about who is the back up and who should rightly take over but until he leaves there is no need to fret cus we have a captain and a good one at that!

Agree0 Disagree0

RVP is staying wont be announced untill after euros deal done

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm....Vermaelen is a nailed on captain in anyones book - Hes a class player, cares about winning, I'm pretty sure he's well respected by his teammates AND he's already been captain of Ajax. Finally it might persuade him to stay in case he's gonna be the next Henry, Vieira, Fabregas, Flamini, Nasri, Hleb, Van Persie and whoever else we've lost to greener grass!

Anyone else wondering why we made a £30m bid for Goetze in January yet we aren't favourites to sign Kagawa for approximately half that?

Believable35 Unbelievable6

Can't see the connection I'm afraid...

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think we were ever favourites for Gotze. Kawaga will pick Man U, he has a chance of winning something and they buy top players. Probably made up, but i read Kawaga has always been a Man U fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Man utd virtually got kagawa deal wrapped up! our indecisiveness is our problem, we scout a player for ages and dilly dally around, haggeling over a couple million then lose out! same old same old!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably because we didnt make a 30 million bid for gotze..

Agree0 Disagree0

The connection is that we need a world class attacking midfielder, we *apparently* bid £30m for Goetze in January but he didn't want to move and then he signed on at Dortmund. ow we've only been linked with players worth half what Goetze is worth and there's been zero indication of any bids tabled....why not? We're willing to spend £30m on Mario but we won't compete for Kagawa?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its easy to bid £30 million for a player that your confident you won't get just to sure fans your "ambitious". Same old story that we miss out on big players because our club has no ambitions other then to make money. Sick and tired of being let down by our club in both the transfer market and on pitch displays. Time for change as our club is rotting.

Essexgooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen very carefully, I will say zis only once, but for ze benefit of ze 'are of 'earing (most of you) very loud: ARSENAL DID NOT BID 30M FOR GOTZE. And why are Araenal not snaffling up Kagawa for half that? They ARE trying, but we have to be realistic, if MUFC are in for a top player, in a position in which they are in dire need so game time will be guaranteed, then the player will choose MUFC as they are a more attractive option, with a likely much higher salary on offer and a seemingly greater chance of winning trophies. End. Of.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed can you confirm arsenal made a 30 million bid for gotze in January

Thanks {Ed030's Note - I cannot confirm this Sorry}

The gunners should look at Wesley sniejder, inter haven't secured champions league football, worth a pop, he would be quality!

Believable33 Unbelievable17

Hes Been Poor This Season For Club And Country

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be an amazing scalp. The only thing that could be a stumbling block my be his wages because was he not want 200k from man utd last summer?

Scottish Gonner {Ed001's Note - and a private jet to fly him home after games.}

Hazard to announce his destination this afternoon!

Looks like its chelsea though! As tweeted by saha

Believable23 Unbelievable10

Yeah think it will be chelsea. Was hoping it would b United, so we would have a better shot at Kagawa. If United miss Hazard, my guess is they will throw everything at Kawaga :(

Agree0 Disagree0

How would Saha know anything about the transfer? Eden Hazard is an Arsenal player if ever I saw one and this is coming from a Spurs fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Eden hazard to announce on twitter at 16:00 that he will be joining ARSENAL!!

Good buisness for swansea. I hope they stay up next season.

Believable26 Unbelievable3

Yeah I saw this story last night and was going to bring it to people's attention. Another poor club making a VERY astute signing while we continue to put in £6m bids for players whose release clauses are £12.4m or something (Giroud - oh and Chamakh hasn't been offered in part exchange).

Been speaking to a Forest player who played with Boateng this season. Apparently Boateng and RVP are good friends. Boateng says that RVP is 100% leaving because he thinks that arsenal lack ambition and he wants to win trophies. He doesn't know where he will go but he obviously has many options. The guy I was speaking to had no reason to lie to so I think he is a credible source.

Big Dog

Believable14 Unbelievable34

So basically all you have told us is that arsenal lack ambition and van persie wants to win trophies..something we already knew and then added a bulls**t spin on it with boateng telling a fellow forest player this info who then told you, right.

Agree0 Disagree0

I very much doubt it. If Robin did say something as unjustifiable as that, the press would have picked it up by now, I don't see why your the only one that knows. No offence intended.

Ben X.

Agree0 Disagree0

Which Boateng And Rvp Really Doesnt Have That Many Options Theres No Money In football Mate

Agree0 Disagree0

He's given wenger the chance to sign some talent, transfer window is'nt open yet and we have already got podolski.. he atleast has to wait to see if we are gunna get rid of the rubbish and bring some names in first! if hes defo gunna leave i dnt think he would lead us up the garden path and would of said out right already!

Believable11 Unbelievable32

What do you want to know mate? Nobody knows for sure whether it's 'true' as such, most people, myself included, feel it's just twitter BS (bloody vile invention, twitter). arsenal rumoured to make a 15 million pound move for Barcelona's thiago, who is only 19

Believable22 Unbelievable39

Cant see this happening, barca aren't in the business of offloading their best youngsters. of their current crop thiago is probably thee best. the next iniesta / cesc

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds about right.. dont spend money like that on big named established players like, giroud or m'vila or vertonghen.. just blow it on a kid who no doubt has talent but may not become good and will take a while to develop.. also just because he is at barca doesnt automatically make him good!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thiago is FANTASTIC. He would be a GREAT signing. My only issue is that we would never be able to hold on to him long term.

0.1% chance of this happening though...

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

During the whole Cesc debacle, we tried to include Thiago in our negotiations and was met with a flat refusal. Barca see him as the cream of their current crop and will not be letting him go.

Agree0 Disagree0

He has a release clause that barca put in when he signed a new contract recently I think it was like 80mil euros.... thiago to arsenal not happening

After Giroud pretty much won France's friendly for them with two great assists, his pirce most likely just sky rocketed. If we have any chance of getting him, the deal needs to b done before Euros. Hopefully Wenger was watching

Marty {Ed002's Note -

Believable24 Unbelievable7

All France players have been banned from talking about transfers or talking to other clubs. M'Vila said this on Friday so no one will be signing any French players before the Euros.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe banned from talking to the media, but you cannot force someone not to talk to a club about their future - thats just rubbish

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt his price would increase anymore than it is at now

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes meant to have a buy out clause...

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger might be able to stop players talking about signing for Arsenal, but thats all. Giroud could join any other club in the world, if he wanted to

Agree0 Disagree0

If Blanc tells his players while your on ibternational duty you cant speak to clubs about transfers you just have to concentrate in the euros then no player is going to disobey that! so how is it bull. Also did you not hear M'Vila interview in Friday? He also said its time to worry about france and for the players to leave their futures until after the competition. He said if i have to il waut until the end pf August.
I will bet any money no deals will be done for any player at the euros until after from here on in!!

Just a comment (not rumour)...Have you seen Velere Germain the AM from Monaco and France U23 team, he is extremely good, he would definately be a great signing for the future and probably for very little money.

Gooners a quick update... I think I am now ready to cross the line and say, Mvila is finally sealed. Yes I know it was reported a while back but the issues that I was hearing were to be resolved has finally been put to bed.. If it doesnt go through, abuses are welcome because you bet it, I wont flee away. Will post again no matter if it turns out to be true or not... I still needed a little bit more convincing before giving a definitive response but I think I should stop sitting on the fence. So now wait for the announcement. And no, I am not erecting my info on the fact that mvila was missing from the squad yesterday.. It was in public knowledge that he would be given a rest.. It can be related with the finalizing of the move but nothing to my knowledge.
As for all those llorente rumors popping up- my reaction to it:
LOLrente!!!!
And before I go, those who follow RedArmy49 on twitter should have come to know that he is being told that AW has called kagawa personally to let him know he wants him at Arsenal. Dismiss it if you want to, but his record speaks for himself.. I wont defend a person("ON TWITTER") just like that. YOU CAN COUNT ON HIM

Hazard to going to chelsea now, can't see us getting kagawa with man utd in the race for his signature.

Wenger calling kagawa does not suggest we will defo sign him.. I have already mentioned in my previous post that I hoped hazard went to united so that we could snap kagawa.

I know jeremy menez only moved to psg last summer but I believe he has all the qualtities to be a top player in the bpl. Hes quick, skillful, good dribbler and passer, decent scorer and versatile(can play along the midfield or further up the field). Do any of the ed's know if he would possibly be available? {Ed002's Note - I think it unlikely. As an aside, and exchange for Arsenal's Clichy looked a good bet before his move last year.}

Thanks ed, I think that would have been a much better deal than signing gervinho

I've been saying this for years, menez should have been bought 3/4 years ago, cracking player.

I think some1 mentioned Inter not having CL football next season, I tell u what their Brazilian youngster on loan @ Espanyol Coutinho I think. He looks very good, came on against Barca 2weeks back as a sub & just murdered young Montoya who is a very highly rated fullback @ Barca. In saying that I'm not saying we should buy him lol. SA-Gooner {Ed002's Note - Inter had offered to loan Coutinho to Bologna as part of a deal for Gaston Ramirez that eventually fell through last summer. He had a few starts early in the season and with Inter looking to sell Sneijder at some point to help fund their rebuilding I don't think they would want to sell - hence the loan to Espanyol. Coutinho would need a work permit so any move would not be easy.}

Hi eds, there are a few rumours circulating on twitter about arsenal approaching Bilbao for llorente, have u heard anything? Personally I would rather muniain. Keep up the good work guys! {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is interesting Spurs, PSG and Manchester City. Barcelona are considering their future options which may involve a move for the player.}

We got more chance of doing the treble next year then signing llorente mate. he's 25-30 million! we cant buy players from harrords when wengers shopping at c&a!

Ed(s), what's the chance of us doing a swap with zenit, Arshavin for Danny?

I know Danny is 30 but he'a absoloute quality, and the kind of attacking midfielder we need.
Plus zenit want Arshavin back on a permanent deal apparently.

I know it's unlikely, but it'd definetly be a good swap!

D {Ed007's Note - I'd say none.}

Believable3 Unbelievable14

If i was to swap arshavin for someone it would be denisov, that guy is a rock.
