Sanchez a doubt with a Hamstring injury, let's AW doesn't push him too much, i'd rather miss him for 1 game rather than 4

I don't see the need to play him - give him a well deserved rest. We have theo and Gnarby back who can play in his general positions!

I don't think AW will push him but Sanchez will push Wenger to play him :)

Very true. You can tell he loves to play and shows that real desire.
I'm also just going to stick my neck out here and say that Sanchez isn't the be all and end all for Arsenal. There's very little to fault with Sanchez - apart from the fact, as he demonstrated at Brighton last week, he could pass more - but he stood out most while the team seemed not to gel for the first half of the season. With so many key players having returned and the likes of Cazorla and above all Coquelin finding form, we've started to gel and play as a team again, just as we did for several months after that last fateful Villa visit to the Emirates. Playing Sanchez every bloody week risks making a group of cooperative players who have a good team ethic overly reliant on one man, so it seems better to give Sanchez regular well-earned rests on two counts. Better for team in long run (as it's better for his fitness) and for the players around him

Reading that Sanchez is a doubt for Sunday with a hamstring problem.

The result maybe of a pointless 20 minute run out against BHA. It could have been training but it seemed a stupid idea even having him on the bench for that game just to come on and get kicked and risk exactly this.

If that's the case, let's hope others step up to the plate and prove we are not a one man team.

We have plenty of options upfront.
Big loss. Can we cope?

The most different goalscorers in the league proves we are not a one man team! Now pundits. they all read off the same hymn sheet. When employed to comment on a game that you are paid to watch, the criteria for experience should be based on games you have watched, not played in. I have heard some right drivel this season from ex pro's who know best! Arsenal being a one man team is just one of many poor bits of punditry this season.

{Ed025's Note - fair comment davros..

I think you summed it up with 'maybe'. We don't know when he got this problem, so blaming it on his inclusion at the weekend is absurdly harsh.

We have allowed 3 players to leave (Podolski, Sanaogo & Campbell, whilst only signing 2 players (Bielik & Gabriel). Are we intending to sign a third player and if so, in which position?
My own opinion is that we are looking for a player capable of playing wide left and striker.

{Ed025's Note - i cant see anymore coming in robbie..

Thanks Ed, you are probably right. I still feel we are one short in terms of defensive midfield players, with the injury to Arteta and Bielik having just joined and only being 17 years of age. Flamini is poor in my humble opinion. Coquelin's sudden and unexpected rise is really satisfying, as I felt when he joined he looked a definite possibility to make it.

Wide left? I can think of 6 or 7 players we have who can play wide left. And with Theo on his way back we surely have enough up front. Why would wide left be a priority?

I have a few questions just like curious George.

1) Are real madrid in any danger of similar violations that barcelona have been charged with in relation to their transfer Ban.

2) Has anyone inquired or approached madrid Bale, benzema and Isco.

3) I am aware that reus is injured but is it likely it will be between bayern and madrid for his services?

4) which clubs have approached and inquired about dybala from palermo

5) and what is the situation with schneiderlin, has anyone approached Southampton in regards to a summer move?

I am aware that things change over the course of a few days in your world, but I would appreciate if you could spare some time and impart some words of special info.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - (1) It is being looked at. (2)All are available - but it will be the summer. (3) Yes, it is now likely. (4) Palermo are looking to have Dybala sign a new contract but have made it clear that they will sell for €50M - a fee which will put off most clubs. Dortmund and Arsenal have a declared interest but I suspect the fee would put them off. (5) Nothing has changed - there is interest but Southampton are not looking to sell at this time.}

Eds do Arsenal still have an interest in Marco Reus?

Gunner - Sammy himself could be a bit lively on occasions - as most players could but few of them were biters or stampers.
