Ok, i have just ask a friend in Germany, Hannover. Balague was talking about secret deal in addition to Aubameyang and interesting info that could be Germany international Hector, he can play as Dm as well as CB. How true it is not sure but very good addition.

Giroud has never been a big game player, decent business in my opinion. If we were buying him, I think we would all be a bit p**sed off.

Yeah in todays market that is way below a fair price for a international strtiker Giroud (25m-30M is about right) but if it means getting the Aubameyang deal over the line then it needs to be done. Chelsea no doubt using this against us to get a cheap deal and Giroud needs to play more regular to secure that world cup place, although I question weather he would get more game time at Chelsea tbh? Sounds like Giroud does not fancy moving to Germany.

Jelfy, let it go, it was the amount i was disputing not the bid. I still say from what i was told we didn't bid 57 mil but i'm not saying that is correct either. From what i was told, why should we bid 57 mil when a figure lower than that would start the ball rolling. Thanks for your info, it did look as though i didn't believe what you were saying, which wasnt the case, just the amount. The post then went in a different direction.

Kinloch, excuse me i have never said we should jump in at 60. If you read my posts i have only mentioned 53mil. That was the figure given by a dortmund representative for a deal to be even considered last week. From our point of view i said when they want 60 why do we start at 40 and drag our heels. We have lost out on the past by trying to deal too low. I think i have said 53 mil three times in the last week not 60. Still all that matters is that we get it done. Whatever it costs.
