i've heard that maroune fellaini is a transfer target for wenger. some reasons may include his versitality in midfield and everton's financial problems. he believes he could get him for £10 million.

He is going to chelsea

Man City rape us, we should lay off raping Everton
Agree0

Ide be happy iff we got him

^^
i agree, lets not abuse everton by taking fellani aswell as arteta..
after all, i like everton being the best side on merseyside..
Agree0
Disagree0
They paid over £10m for him 3 years ago
can't see them being in so much money problems after finishing 7th selling him for what they paid.
crappy rumour really
Agree0
Disagree0
He is worth more than 10 million
Agree0
Disagree0
Load of ball...ocks!
Agree0
Disagree0
Why even lie. Everton payed 16 million for him a few yeard ago and he has got better plus he signed a 5 year contract last season. Id love him to sign but its just lies.
Agree0
Disagree0
He is a player I would love to see us sign. I would like to see us revert to our successful 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 formation, as follows:
Szczesny
Sagna Koscielny Vermaelen Gibbs
Wilshere Fellaini Song Gervinho
RVP
Podolski
&
Gordon
Jenkinson Mertesacker Mbiwa Santos
Oxlade C Arteta Frimpong Abu Diaby
Arshavin (yes ! in the Bergkamp role)
Giroud
These teams are not a 1st & 2nd team, as you need a strong sqaud to compete.
As for the price, premier league players such as Fellaini tend to be overpriced, which is why we rarely buy them. He is probably worth £15m in todays market, unless the super wealthy clubs want him. For Everton to sell, I would imagine they want £25m.
Agree0
Disagree0
Why are people showing sympathy to everyone. If he's available then we should try. Doesn't need bedding in.
At the end of the day look what everton did with the arteta money. Along with Papis cisse, nikica jelavic was the best January transfer made in the league.

No claiming this as my own but seen a few twitter feeds saying M' Villa has left Frances training camp, no reason given.
Lets hope he is on route to Colney and De Jong rumours were a way of speeding things up!
RG
Believable21
Unbelievable27
Also saying he went to see about a slight injury, thats why he left the camp
Agree0

Does'nt concern us what he's doing.. whatever it is he's doing, it has nothing what so ever to do with arsenal. i cant see him coming to us, sorry!
why would we want him when we can have steven n'zonzi, the big man who saved blackburn from relegation and is so good every major club want him on their books?!
Agree0
Disagree0
Don't be ridiculous, you know aswell as everyone else these N'zonzi rumours are b****cks.
I am quietly confident we will sign M'vila if we want him. If we don't then people will say we missed out even if we never really went for him.
CT

Saved blackburn from regelation?
Agree0

If we get Fellaini and Dembele, we would challenge for title, no doubt
Agree0

Saves Blackburn from Relegation? How could that be? Are we extending EPL in order to accomodate Blackburn next season? Pls updates me abt this.
Agree0
Disagree0
The person who posted about n'zonzi saving blackburn from relegation was being sarcastic. Ie, we would rather save money and buy a player who didnt help his team stay up. Sarcasm isnt difficult to detect
Agree0
Disagree0
Its blatantly obvious he was being ironic as the exact opposite of what he says applies to n'zonzi, thought I would clear that up for everyone

As a loan? I think this is not a bad back up plan...
Also - I say we build a relationship with Montpellier. Maybe we can't get belhanda this season - hopefully next season!

This would be a shocking signing, would of been a good one maybe 2 years ago when we had the chance. not been the same since injury
Agree0

Hope he comes
Agree0

He still is a good player. I seen him play after his injury and seems to be playing well
Agree0

He got boo'd off the pitch for france vs iceland a couple of days ago, by his own fans. Nobody wants him to play for france anymore, and he looks nowhere near as good as he used to. He's lost it. Would be a terrible signing
Agree0
Disagree0
I think that he'd be a gamble but one worth taking. On his day he oozes class. I think a change of scenery would do him good. Also, if we are going to hold on to Chamakh, these two had a great understanding on the pitch. It would help them both recapture some form. Didn't we sign Overmars after he had a potentially career ending leg break? He didn't too badly for us did he?
Slick Mick
Agree0

He's terrible. I hate that we always want average players from the french league
Agree0
Disagree0
He was very good a few years back, he could of moved to Arsenal 2 or 3 years ago but he moved elsewhere.Wenger may move for him but not as a marquee signing but to add to the squuad and give him a 2nd chance to get his career back on track

Kagawa reps apparently meeting with arsenal today after Arsenal bid 13m plus Bendtner!!
Dortmund HAVE NOT accepted a bid from united yet but have accepted ours (amazingly)
It is thought utd will have to bid around 18m for him and if they do he will go there although united (hopefully) may look at other targets
This info is from a former gooner who is quite often on sky sports whom i met at a charity dinner last night (no i wasn't pissed before anyone says it!)

LIES LIES LIES ALL LIES its been confirmed by many respected german journalists that he is on his way to man utd with both terms agreed between both clubs and the player himself.

I doubt arsenal are in for him. Utd have raised the stakes. 17.6 mil offer and 100k a week wages and exclusive sponsership rights.
we are out of this one too.
we are going to possibly go for dempsey.

Whilst I don't believe this rumour at all.. to the person who was questioning Bandter's valuation of 7million? Really? I know a lot of Arsenal fans don't like him but he scores goals, and he is a full International for Denmark.. I'd say 7million is cut price for someone like that.

I think £3m tops for Bendtner.

Annoys me everytime i read this rumour! so obviously false!! people please drop kagawa thing please, may as well link us to messi! united and him are deep in talks, majority of groundwork done, because unlike wenger, fergie knows how to do transfer deals!

All you morons saying bendtner is not worth 7 mil... jay rodriguez is being sold by burnley for 7...huddersfield want 8mil for jordan rhodes...bendtner is an international forward..just because he hasnt worked out at arsenal doesnt mean we should sell him on the cheap like idiots
Agree0

Well said to the above totally agree think we could get at least between 7-9m for him
Agree0

Kagawa to United should be confirmed tomorrow.
Slick Mick
Agree0

Haha bendtner a full international. thats rubbish. would he start over ibrahimovic or guidetti in sweden?
what about germany or holland or portugal or france. hell he would not start for poland over lewandowski or shevchenko for ukraine.
the fact is denmark lack any true talent up front.. having b52 up there is their only choice.
if they could give that 12 year old youtube sensation kid from nepal a passport he would play from the bench.
remember he was at sunderland and he was on the bench...
international my ass
Agree0

My money is on Barry B still being at Arsenal next season, he is not worth any more than 4 - 5 million, not only that, other clubs will not pay the stupid wages Wenger gave him on his Arsenal contract, between 50 & 60 k per week.

B****cks, Kagawa is going to United, everybody knows it, only some stupid dreamers from this site still believe this, like they did with Mata, Hazard, Vertonghen or others. So stop dreaming. Kagawa si not coming to Arsenal.

I read this site every transfer window and luv the excitement and anger the comments cause.
i also luv trying to work out 'i have a source at the emirates', whether its fake or genuine.
well, here goes i have a source at the training ground who is very close to the players, their job is working with the first team and particularly with the captain and they are convinced that RVP is staying based only on their own feeling but taking into account that RVP is enjoying his time at AFC and his family are very settled.
on a down note they also say that there are quite a few people at the training ground who thinks he will go.
one thing is for sure if no one really knows down at the training ground then this really is a wait and see situation

I believe RVP is playing a clever game. Does he really want to uproot his family who are happy in leafy Hampstead to move to Manchester or abroad? I have a feeling he is making Arsenal wait, firstly to try & get as good a financial packet as possible & also to try to force Arsenal into signing quality players. The probable outcome will be an increased signing on fee & £150k per week for 4 years. From sources that I cant divulge Arsenal are closing in on M'Vila & Giroud. Any further signings will be dependent on selling players surplus to requirements.
Believable37
Unbelievable16
Frankly, I am wondering this too - maybe he is jsut putting pressure on Wenger to buy...
We all know the family is happy hear and RVP is very good friends with Vermaelen...
Billybob
Agree0

No but moving to chelski a possibility for Rvp, he keeps the home life, adds some bucks and probably a few trophies. We need to add 2/3 more quality players before he resigns, which I hope he does
Agree0
Disagree0
I really can't see RVP going anywhere,he has a settled family life here, and lets face it,last season was the first season he actually stayed fit and proved what he can do.He is now 28 years and is looking for probably his last big payday.I do agree,he is probably stalling to see if quality players are coming, but RVP is a genuine person, who like Henry,Bergkamp and many other players, would never get hero worship the same at another club.

RVP's mum and wife reiterate their statement that RVP should stay for to repay Arsenals loyalty towards him when he was always injured.
Must be staying
If Wenger decides to leave we should replace him with his RVP's mum.
Believable38
Unbelievable5
RVP should be convinced by Arsene that the team could win trophies next season. With Wishere back, Walcott improves, the signing of Podolski and other great players RVP should think about it................ He's wage is high too....... and he's family are happy in London

The Joan Gamper Trophy (Catalan: Trofeu Joan Gamper) or Joan Gamper Cup is an annual friendly football competition held in August, before the start of Spanish club FC Barcelona's La Liga season.[1] The competition is hosted by FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium and is named in honour of Joan Gamper, a founding member, player, and later president of the club.

Inside News from the emirates. Not going to reveal the source but take the news as you will. There are real fears that RvP won't be signing an extension, a couple of the younger players have expressed this to my source however they hear Arsene is doing all he can to make sure RvP stays.
M'Villa deal is as good as done, and only a few little details need to be ironed out. Apparently there will be a fair few coming and goings and alot of the young guys are worried they could be let go.

Eds, what are the chances that Nigel De Jong would be on the move in the summer? I know he's not everyone's favourite player but you can't disregard what he does in my opinion, it is certainly effective. {Ed001's Note - he is very likely to move and City are searching for a replacement, with Javi Martinez definitely being high on their wish list.}
