well... 2-0 at home to swansea and thats not even the worst bit ...the worst bit being fans leaving early- I never thought id see that at afc that's usually the scuds downt road. there laughing at us now not cause of the loss cause our fan base has been rattled, its weak and we're pointing fingers everywhere. can u imagine the pressure we are putting on the team to have them perform... need to relax a bit and let the natural flow happen, build confidence and make the emirates a tough place to come. enough said

WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH.

yet again BANGKOK-HOLLA you have come on here talking utter B/S.

your slating supporters that scrimp and save that go week in week out.

you have blamed every 1 else except the manager.

time to take the rose tinted glasses of!

Agreed
blame lies at the foot of the door by the players and the manager.
trying to put blame on home supporters is beyond foolish, if we didn't have home supporters week in week out we wouldn't have the sponsors = wouldn't have the players = wouldn't have the popularity to be seen around the world by all

Why would anyone in their right mind encourage and support mediocrity and failure? This is nearly 8 years of this and it has to stop now!

I dont get it bang-kok, ur saying we have not won anything for 7 years because it is the fans fault? we are 10th in the table with a team of mediocore players because it is the fans fault?

In all fairness we should be 3rd now not 10th, this is the most open season we've had in years. Its not all doom and gloom either because we're 5 points off 3rd but we seriously need results and the fans need to help out by getting back behind the team. We need investment from the board into the 1st team and if they are not prepared splash the cash then we need them out.

I was at the game and i don't go to many as i can't really afford it, and tbh it was money i could've done with this month, but no i wanted to see my team, and there was just no heart, no one seemed like they cared.

Arsene just sat there not trying to motivate his players as they played awful. i'm not usually one for booing your team, but they deserved it, each year the board f us over and it's about time the fans showed we've had enough, we just want our arsenal back!

Is it just me or are all of Bangkok-holla's post just directed at other fans. I have yet to read a post that doesn't slate our fans. More like spud behaviour in my opinion.

Hi eds, is this a transfer forum or moaning website? thought if change the depressing mood with some transfer targets of wenger. Have been told on good authority wenger is looking at huntelaar, lopez, sneider, holtby and wait for it lampard and cashley cole. All 6 are available for free in june. Wenger sees all as players to enhance his squad. Righty or wrongly wenger feels his starting 11 are good enough to challenge anyone, but knows backup is poor. walcott is definitley leaving, i hear chelsea most likely in jan, possibly with mikel or sturridge involved. For all looking big names, think u will be unhappy as see wenger returning to suit with bids for zaha and few other future prospects! Lastly there are strong rumbleings that guadiola may have shown interest in post if wenger left, he wants a project and fan of youth which for all faults arsenal have youth system to rival barca. He is put of by chelsea axeman owner and knows one bad year and out. All depends on if can get top 4 and man u dont come in first. hope gives some light to dark tunnel we are in. will update soon nb

The problem is-these players want CL football. This team aren't going to delive that, so forget it.

Agree1 Disagree0

You're right, it depends on finishing 4th. I'm worried what will happen if we don't make the champions league, we're yet to experience this situation. It can only be bad news, contract renewels and buying class players isn't happening if we're not in the champs league... i've never been so worried

It is easy to let emotions take over. I will refrain from talking about Wenger and leave it for another day. After following my team for 35 years, I have seen immense leaders in Arsenal. McLintock, Adams, Viera. We do not have a leader on the pitch and have not for a very long time. Adams used to say, the hairs on the back of his neck bristled every time he put on an Arsenal shirt. I don't think ANYONE in the current Arsenal team have the same love for the club. I am still a proud Arsenal boy but none of the squad are. Before everyone starts replying about Wilshere, Fabregas and Henry, yes good players BUT not leaders.

I disagree i think once Wilshere comes of age he will be a great leader

Agree0 Disagree0

You are right there is no leader on the pitch. Not of the Adams calibre anyway. Wilshire on the other hand does have the ability to grow into that role.

as much as i admire le professor, it is sad to see him be humiliated by this team selection and players that dont perform to the best of their ability. their is no doubting his record and achievements for the club, but we are dwindling into oblivion - most supporters who attend week in week out have seen it coming a long time ago but have been looking through rose tinted glasses hoping we can emulate our past glories.
booing the team and name calling the boss is wrong he deserves more respect - but the fans have no way of expressing themselves other than not turning up.
maybe we need to pass the torch to a younger more ambitous man - bring in new fresh ideas, because wenger looks tired and out of ideas. i hope he can turn it around but the signs are not good, the club is a shambles with players running down contracts and some players that dont give 100% every game and let down the quality we have like wilshere cazorla szecs giroud merti kosci verm ox and walcott- to make matters worse we have two ar*eholes in silent stan and ivan gazidas running the club for their own needs and prefer profit over success (im not saying we go bankrupt but a few marquee signings may lift the team and supporters - we have the funds)- these are dire times for the gooners i wish i could keep the faith and say in wenger we trust - but it doesnt stick anymore - lesser teams come to the emirates expecting 3 points - what does that tell you.

a very sad GS
