Sissoko at Necastle was a AW target. Anyone watching MOTD, what is Wengers problem the man is a beast.

Simple answer: AW thinks he knows better. The reality: He let's his ego get in the way of a sound move.

And to the AKB's out there: if AW can't scrape £2. 5 Million together to get this guy but was willing to spend far more on the problem child called Yann M'Vila then he's no longer capable of making those types of decisions.

I love AW, I really do. The more I see of his actions the more the phrase "Brian Clough at the end of his career" keeps ringing in my ear.

2nd poster.

i agree with you.
my take on the situation is I do not think arsene will be manager next season.

i think nacho was only bought in january because of gibbs injury. it was not a panic buy he bought him because of a need and I solute him for doing it, this was all ways the problem b4,, he never did this b4 when we needed a gk or a cb.

the teams performances this year have been the worst in his reign. he knows that. if he was going to buy it was going to be this january but he did not.

hes gone in the summer.

any money will be given to the new manager.

we will see if stan kroenke will put his money where his mouth is.

if we are going to go down the route of making players rather than buying them I think the board will go for some 1 like martinez.

the manager kroenke goes for will tell you what he is going to spend.

some 1 like klopp has done it on a budget, his next move will be to a club that buys the best, he will want to join the elite managers that is given a huge budget.

next manger will tell the future for the club for the next 3-4 years, we all ways give a manager a chance.

what does arsene do best for arsenal? earn them money, he will make sure who ever he goes to will have to pay arsenal.
i think arsenal would ask for around £15 mill to buy out his contract. I think it will be the biggest transfer fee for a manager.

Just to add.

wengers project was to pay of the stadium debt, he has done that.

i think he will want 1 last shot to manage at a club like madrid or psg.

he will want to join a club that will be in the mix in the cl with huge resources.

just my take

Ed, and anyone with a clue, would you expect Wenger to continue pursuing Lopez in the summer, or perhaps someone of higher calibre? I still don't think Walcott can cut it with the best yet but I'm glad to see his goal tally keep rising. More than Rooney so far! {Ed002's Note - The summer is a long way off still - it would be guess work at this time.}

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Lopez is a player that will always be a level below top class, he doesn't have the pace to be at the top level why would you want a player like that. Jovetic and Villa i'm told is very likely. we are money bags in 2013/14 season ;)

Wenger is after a world class striker in the summer. Number one target is Edinson Cavani. Arsenal are willing to pay up to £30M for him but Real Madrid, Man. City, Juventus and Chelsea maintain high interest in Cavani as well. Other targets are Jovetic, David Villa, El Shaarawy, and Edin Dzeko. {Ed002's Note - The fee for Cavani will not be less that £55M.

Believable3 Unbelievable18

30 million won't do it, that's for sure. chelsea spent 50 on torres, they would happily do it again for cavani. forget him at arsenal, its never going to happen.

He'll probably leave more towards the £40m mark

Expect both city and chelsea to buy a forward plus Madrids president has already courted a certain forward from Athletico. . A lot could depend on the destination of Jose. . When these three get their cheque books out we will get blown away. . Villa seems the right fit if the price is right. . Another name in the top notch bracket is a certain Polish forward who plays for Dortmund. . Wenger did state Germany aswell as spain as his favoured hunting ground at present. . km

is wellington still our player? he was going to be the next best thing but now you never hear anything from him {Ed002's Note - He was transferred to Ponferradina who are based in teh north of Spain and play in the second tier - the Spanish Burnley if you like.}

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Ed, he's only on loan there I believe {Ed002's Note - OK, thanks.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah on loan, and club will apply for another WP for him this summer. Chose Ryo > him last time.

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't need a work permit he will be a Spanish citizen thus an EU citizen Ryo already has one and if anyone is getting a work permit it will be Campbell.

Is it just me or is Sagna playing his worst season ever. The man can't run past my grandma and every cross he tries hits the opponent or ends up on the stands. I really think Wgner needs to bring in Jenkinson. Already a better option on my opinion.

Believable70 Unbelievable7

Jenkinson was becoming a good player at the start of the season when sagna was out and sagne don't look like the player he was a couple of seasons ago, i'd have have jenkinson in the team now

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, Sagna always takes a touch before he crosses the ball, and invariably hits the first defender, I have sat in front of my TV shouting at him to cross the ball ever since he got back in the team, and its always the same !!
Every time !
This also gives the defenders a chance to get organised and the chance is then gone.
His defending is crap and he looks disinterested !
I loved him a couple of seasons ago, but,
Maybe its time for a change!
