My Dad bless him see some of the greats of British and World football and he said on a techinal
basis Bergkamp is up there with the, best of them. His goal against Newcastle and the one against Argentina were of the upmost quality. I not certain but I think he is the only player to get the 1-2-3 in MOTD goal of the month competition. Could put it about a bit as I remember as the elbow in Steve Lomas nose testifies.

Yeah for such a technically brilliant player Denis wasn't afraid to mix it or take a hit, usually the more technically talented players can be a bit soft always wanting the ref to give them special treatment but Denis was as physical as most but brilliant talented at the same time.

The most technically gifted arsenal player i have ever seen. Some of the stuff he used to do were ridiculous.

Apparently earlier this week per mert arranged a meeting with all the players to tell them they are letting the manager down. He told them that they are now playing for their managers future and to show people they were on thursday (last night) fighting for him and his future and to show their support. Well per can you think of anything else to tell them because that didn't work. How about telling them, if you keep losing, the manager will get a pay rise and will never be answerable. I think that's achievable.

Without having a go at Per he's not the ideal man to lecture anyone on standing up and being counted, if I was a player and he was lecturing me I'd ask him a few questions about some of his own actions in an Arsenal shirt.
Adams Keowen Wrighty might have carried more weight.

This is simply the weakest Arsenal squad for some time. In the last 2 windows we have sold, released or loaned out:

Szczesny and Martinez
Debuchy, Gabriel and Gibbs
Cambell. Walcott, Coquelin, Reinne-Adelaide, McGuane, Chris Willock and Oxlade
Giround, Akpom, Perez and Sanchez

Plus others.

Whilst we have brought in very few players.

Against Brighton and AC Milan, excluding underage players we are down to selecting from arpprox 17 players, including Mertesacker and the utterly useless Chambers. No wonder we have problems. Apparently we are considering changes for Brighton, I can only think we can bring in Ospina, Maitland-Niles, Chambers, Mertesacker, Holding, Elneny and Iwobi, which shows the weakness in depth of our squad.
