Schwatzer won't sign before the deadline
Arsenal have had scouts at the last 2 Rangers games checking out Allan McGregor and Majid Bougherra who Wenger was impressed with during the world cup.
If Wenger is to sign anyone it won't be schwatzer why sign a 38 yr old? Shay Given or Allan McGregor are his top goalkeeper targets.
Another defender might be brought in for cover and that will be Majid Bougherra who was linked with Arsenal after the England Algeria game
And another player to join Arsenal from the SPL is the mexican celtic signed he will be bought in january but will stay at Parkhead until end of season

I play football with a mate of Wilshires. He was the guy who punched the guy in the face. Apparently wilshire was giving it the big one to the girl and her bf started on wilshire so he ( guy called dwayne dibley ) punched him in the face. See wilshire in hitchin a lot, him and frimpong are best mates and he is definetly not tee-total. He also got smacked in the face in a club a few years back by a former aston villa under-18 player whos career was cut short by injury after Wilshire laughed at him. The guy has an attitude about him. Also Aaron Lennon in a chicken shop said to a girl im a premiership football player wanna k*ck me.

Hey Ed,
I'm an Arsenal fan right down to the core and I'm tired of people saying were gonna sign this guy for 30million (because Wegner won't spend that much), and that stuff, and I'm tired off all the Schwarzer rumours because either he will sign or he won't, its all down to the deal with Given and fulham. So anyway ed are there any other fairly solid rumours about other arsenal signings.
{Editor's NOte: I would like AW to take a look at Scott Loach as an option. Otherwise quiet.}

Robin Van Persie is out for a few weeks with an ankle injury.
We may look to bring in a replacement for the injury prone striker, Honda is a possibility.

It is very much hit and miss on whether Arsenal will sign anyone else before the window closes. It all depends on IF Given goes on loan to Fulham, the Fulham team are assesing Givens medical background and history. They want to see if he might have a reacurrence of the dislocated shoulder he suffered last season at Arsenal (ironically). Fulham could make an offer if the Medics think his shoulder is up to it. That will subsequently allow Schwarzer to make his desired move across London to the Emirates. Wenger has been quoted as saying ''Its all dead at the moment, but maybe not finished, '' impliying any further additions depend on other parties, eg Fulham and Given. Ed, do you think the Schwarzer/Given deals will go through? {editor's note - I do believe Schwarzer will join Arsenal, not sure about Given though.}
