Have to agree with the last bit. Why are we playing 4-1-4-1? Ozil and Sanchez are £80m worth of talent stuck out wide in a flat 4. Surely Ozil playing off Sanchez has to be the way to go. If this system is being used to make us better defensively, it's not working. We are all over the place at the back.

Arsenal will not be buying anyone else in this transfer window. All the business was done right after the world cup. They will be the smallest team in this years Champions League with only 13 real first team players. Arsene Wenger doesn't want more than that. He feels the team won't gel with more players.
I don't think it is a 4141. That's what they show on ssn but we are really playing with a striker and an advanced mf behind him, cazorla, lw ozil and rw Sanchez. Two deeper mf, one of which is more defensive. But still, I agree, ozil should never be on the wing.

Not sure how anybody could think that a striker is top priority after the game today. We could have had the best CF on the planet today and we would have still conceded 5 or 6 against a quality side. We spent the 35m on Alexis, we need to get the best out of him, not just go out and buy another one.

What's not to understand? We have 6 players already who can play CF, and Wenger has already said he won't buy a striker unless somebody leaves.
It's a total joke when wenger says we have all these players that can play as a center lone striker. none of them have BOTH the ability to hold up the ball AND turn the defender and burn him with pace. Sanchez maybe but that's one guy not 4 to 5. it's embarrassing when you look at the top three choices for center forwards from each of the other top teams in the league. We need a guy that that do it all. hold the ball, burn the defender and most of all take that shot and bury it when given a reasonable chance

BBC reporting that Arsenal have ended there interest in Remy. Is there any truth in this. Be gutted if true, thought he'd be great fit for Arsenal.

{Ed002's Note - There is no point worrying about it - there is plenty of time. Arsenal wanted Minolas but failed to complete the transfer. Atletico Madrid's Toby Alderweireld is available (although it may only be on loan) and a number of clubs including Arsenal have shown an interest. Matija Nastasic might be an option although Juventus are looking toward him. Winston Reid has been mentioned but I cannot help. An English side has made an offer for Aleksandar Dragovic but I don't know who it is. Chambers might provide an in house solution.}
