Just wondering if anyone had any info on sakho at PSG. I know their club are building for the future and have plenty of money/ambition, but MIGHT he move this jan/summer? He's an obvious target for a lot of clubs, but once again, he would be ideal for us.

ed, any idea which full backs arsenal have a chance of getting on loan, or who we are in for? {Ed002's Note - Perhaps Taiwo or Vargas are the most likely Cissokho is also available.}
Is anyone sure exactly which Vargas is more closely linked and therefore keeps popping up on these pages?

I'm assuming Juan Manuel as he can play left back as well!
I can't see either coming in as Wenger is only looking at loan deals. The board won't commit any long term spending until we have secured champions league football for next season ... that includes summer signings.

Arsene Wenger has just revealed that Thomas Vermaelen is out for "two or three weeks" with the injury he sustained against QPR. Wenger also confirmed he's trying to sign a defender but only on loan, and Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has sealed his loan switch to Wolves for the rest of the season.

It appears clubs are now falling over themselves to land Frimmy on a loan deal, with Wolves, Villa and now Norwich reportedly looking to loan him this Jan.

It's been reported that Arsene Wenger is lining up a surprise swap deal by offering out-of-favour striker Marouanne Chamakh for FC Cologne forward Lukas Podolski.
Wenger would like to offload the Moroccan in a player plus cash deal for Podolski, although it's thought that Cologne would be reluctant to get involved in such a deal.

Beniyoun is only on loan, frimpong is going wolves on loan, arshavin will defo be sold jan or in summer along with squid, rosicky, almunia and chamakh so it's a waiting game but I pray Wenger gets the outs and ins done ASAP.
Sorry forgot to mention we also have to sell denilson and bendtner so we should have quite a big war chest to spend on players in summer as I do not see us spending a lot in jan.
Cancel the loan deal for bendtner and swap him for lucas plus 12mil...

With Chamakh going to the ANC, and being in dreadful form, I doubt the Germans would touch him with a bargepole!
Chamakh may have a cracking ACN though, we'll have to wait and see..

Ed do you have any news on jese rodriguez of madrid. He is a fantastic youngster very much in the mould of Ronaldo and about a month or two ago many believed we had an agreement in place whats the latest?

Mourinho says he is keen to keep him at madrid and thats why he gave him his first game, so i dont see a move away from madrid coming soon
