My question is, if koln don't want us to announce the podolski purchase yet, when will it be announced? {Ed002's Note - Probably at the end of teh season - it makes no difference.}

The announcement has become a moot point now, because quite simply the fans already know he's off. There's already been one "fan revolt" so to be fair, holding it off any longer is just ridiculous.

But it will happen officially, probably between Monday May 14th and Friday May 18th.

When does the European Transfer Window open? I thought it was July 1st. If that is the case, what'ds the point of announcing one way or the other until then anyway?

Agree with MA. We pretty much know the deal is done. No point in being impatient...

More interested to hear what's happening on other fronts. Apparently we are looking at Mbia as alternative to M'Vila.

I guess Wenger wants a DM and will have Wilshire play in a more advanced position.

Also - Apparently, Hazard is expected to join man city.

To the guy above, whilst M'villa may not be rated the same as M'bia, he is a great utility player who can slot in a centre back (where he currently plays for Marsielle) and play holding midfield, he is actually a very good player, if I remember (any eds/fellow posters verify) we were interested in M'bia a few seasons ago, but Marseille wanted like £20m for him, due to playing at centre back now, he seems to have dropped off the radar a bit, in sure if he slotted into a CDM role, he'd be getting plaudits.

He is a much cheaper alternative to M'vila although, I still feel a center back or a defensive midfielder is not our priority.

Would be happy with a new left back and Gibbs on loan - but that is a personal bias.

Otherwise a world lass CAM please.

I am the no no no guy, yes mbia is a good player but we got his position covered, we got song, frimpong, coq. we need m'vila cause the guy is world class and is a lot more creative.

M'Vila is no more creative than Denilson. No idea where this perception came from. Most of his passing is short and sideways. He does not keep possession, he wins it back.

I would like to know how you can confirm that this is the design please. This picture has been circling for a long period now and no one is able to confirm nor deny. There is a possibility its a scape goat/distratction kit {Ed002's Note - I have no idea what a "scape goat/distratction kit" kit is, but kit launches normally come at the end of the season with the kits often featured in the last game.}

Seen this loads of time and don't believe that will be the design! We wouldn't use black like that! Far to Man Utd! Looks god awful!

I've noticed the blue/red on the sleeves have been turned around. Either they've changed their minds on which way around to have them or the Wilshere one, is in fact doctored.

Guys, I posted this. Although this particular image is a very poor quality one, it is still the design as was unveiled about 6 weeks maybe more, alongside the proposed Man U kit and the proposed Barca kit. I am not saying we will definitely be wearing that, I think it's vile and hope to god we aren't.

However, gullible and other such terms are unnecessary as this was actually unveiled. I just used the first pic I saw in google images that I knew reflected the proposed design. Like you I hate it and hope to god it never sees the light of day. If I find the more 'official' image I saw I will post it, I just really couldn't be bothered spending ages trying to find it when I had other stuff to be doing. When I get a moment I'll try and find a link to it.

What on earth are you talking about 'Unveiled'? The pics of Arsenal, Man utd and Barcelona's new kits were supposedly leaked via twitter, I still very much believe them to be fake, people are right to call you gullible

Ha well apart from imagining the green thing, looks like what I posted was true. WHETHER IT ENDS UP BEING THE KIT IS UP FOR DEBATE like I said and I hope it's not but that's what's doing the rounds so f*** you with your stupid comments.

Ive seen this circling about too, came across it on footballshirtculture along with the pics of united's and barca's kits. However disgusting it is i think it will be our kit next season, the same website showed leaked images of our current kit this time last year and turned out to be true so i dont see why not.
