I know it might not sound great but what about kranjcar from spurs.although it's our rivals he never gets on would be wirth about 2-4million maybe a bit higher and has an eye for goal. What are your thoughts?

My thought's are that your a Spurs fan.

Kranjcar is not a very good player. He's not as good as Rosicky or Benayoun so there's no reason to get him.

No I'm a gooner I'm just thinking he's cheap and could bolster the midfield

Source close to arsenal has told me that wenger want to sign.

Podolski 15 million
Bridge(on loan)
Granero(7-8 million)

Podolski doesnt want to leave until a offer come.Arsenal are still yet to make an offer, he is likely to accept and sign for arsenal.Wenger wants granero to have more option and experienced midfielders.That is why frimpong is gone on loan.And wenger wants Bridge for 2-3 months,until Santos/gibbs recovers.

As we know, we arnt really gonna go out and spend 25-30 million one player, so with that in mind, a decent january window for us imo would be

Matias Suarez 7-10m
Kevin de Bruyne 10-15m
Aly Cissokho 10-15m

so probably around 30-40 million spent and quality players to come in, feel Cissokho would be most important, would provide great strength and pace in defence, de Bruyne flying down the wings, and Suarez, a more than able back up for Van Persie

I think wenger is looking to assess all of his players on the injury list first. Sagna was way ahead of schedule and may be able to slot in ar LB untill Gibbs or vermaelen recover.

Equally, Wenger will consider the use of miguel, yennaris and squillaci.

We have far too many defenders on the books at the moment.

I would still prefer that any available funds be allocated to a goal-scorer.

Podoloski is out of the running. I do not believe the Huntelaar rumours at all...

Caught Offside about as reliable as a ripped condom.

I think we may sign a player, dont get your hopes up about us making a quite a few.

Offer Djourou to Ajax with money for Vertonghen along with Henry coming, give AOC some playing time and we are good i reckon.

To be fair, Caught Offside got it from The Guardian but the story is still a bunch of crap. Podolski himself only ONE day before said the complete opposire of the story; citing AFC as his pref' choice.

He will sign for Arsenal.

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion regarding podolski. Although, my gut feeling is that he won't move. He is incredibly loyal to Koln and will be willing to give them his all for the remainder of the season.

At the moment, my guess is that Wenger will feel is has begun to address the lack of goals with Henry and be completely focussed on resolving the defense.

Assuming, someone is nearing fitness or in the off chance that we loan a player, Wenger will probably turn back his focus to the attack.

Finally - guys do you really want us to spend all of our transfer money in an illiquid Jan window?

Surely, the more we can rely on our existing squad, the more money we will have to sign class players in the summer!
