Ed can I ask you about a player and if arsenal have ever been interested, John Guidetti at man city is a young striker with a amazing goal scoring record 19 in 19 for country and 24 goals in 34 app but is not even in citys squad. surly we should have a look at him?
if not any more in the pato rumour as he seems perfect fit, 24, played decent standard and also champ league. and despite what people say has a better goals to game ratio than the costa and levazzi and is younger

I would much prefer Costa. Pato has been riddled with injuries recently and his goal record as of late has been poor. 9 in 30 in the brazilian league is pretty poor for a player rated as highly as him. Maybe i'm being harsh, I think he got a fair amount of assists, i'm just not a big fan. Guidetti is an different kettle of fish, however, for me at least. Strong, tall, agile. Showing great potential too. Would love to see him at the club.

I see what you say about Pato, but if the rumours are ture and the fee is about 7-8 mill then its got to be worth a gamble, £32 million on Costa is more of a gamble at this stage as its his first real good season, let see hoe he finishes the season then go from there but for that money surley not now, look at benteke ect. have to be sure when talking about that sort of money.

hi Ed, can you really see arsenal getting costa for £32m in the January window? I mean he's in fine form in la liga and would have thought he would have finished the season?

He is keen to go to the World Cup and has opted to play for Spain not Brazil. The concern is that if he leaves Spain he will perhaps lose that opportunity.}
