Hi guys, I'm liverpool fan but my little lad broke me heart as he asked me to get him a new arsenal top so I'm gutted. Any idea when your new shirt is released? Cheers {Ed027's Note - Unlucky mate (lucky), we will have the same kit till 2014, then we will have a Puma kit, our kits will stay for 2 years, Gazidis giving the fans some money back

Lol you dear sir reminds me of what my father went through, I became a gooner when my father was a liverpool fan, but hey I was born in surry and nowhere near liverpool, most of my famliy mothers side are gooners, but dude I can just imagine the hurt you feel but just be thankful it was not tottenham hotspur he decided to support.

Agree3 Disagree0

Nobody even knows what the kit looks like let alone when it's released

Agree0 Disagree0

But the away one is new. were going back to yellow and blue (excited)

Agree0 Disagree1

HaHa. Sorry mate, but I too feel your pain. My young lad can't get over RVP joining the Mancs, he actually said "can we not just support Utd now, Van Persie left and won the league, Arsenal never win anything". He's only 7 and doesn't understand why we support our clubs, but I suppose that's how Utd get their fans

Agree1 Disagree0

Only the home kit is staying Ed.

We're getting a new away kit this summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

The new away kit will be out mid july

A couple years ago my mates lad came home from school and said to his Dad that he didn't want to support Arsenal anymore because the other kids were teasing him about it. 8-10 years ago all you saw was kids in Arsenal kits, all joking aside the board should consider this.

Agree0 Disagree0

The 2 year home shirt cycle will surely end with the big money puma deal?

Agree1 Disagree0

This reminds me of when my brother said he was going to support Tottenham (we had a cool older neighbour that supported them. ) I was surprised that my dad didn't react. He waited a couple of weeks until our cousins and uncle were round (5 arsenal supporters) then said to him, "what team do you support?"

He didn't say Tottenham.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wahey at least your boy has some sense, Liverpool are awful and arsenal are so better. Good for him

Agree0 Disagree0

7-8 years ago, I was in small town Canada in the middle of no-where and was pleasently surprised to see all the kids in the mall had arsenal tops on. Now. don't even see those in big cities around the globe. Surely the board would have felt a drop in sales too. Why are they such noobs! : (

Agree0 Disagree0

The new yellow ones going to be a stonker mate! get him one of them. "She wore a yellow ribbon"

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't blame your son. Have you seen the state of the supposedly new Liverpool kit?

Agree0 Disagree0

Gee I know how this feels as my two sons are Man United fans and Dad the lone Gunner. On the other hand, I have a little niece who is only 5yrs old and is a Gunners fan already. Just let him be and go with the rivalry later on, it makes for interesting families. LOL

News Arsenal have opened talks to sign Kondogbia, he apparently has a release clause of 6-8m and if anything this legitimizes claims about inquiries for players like Pogba and Wanyama as Wenger looks to bring in a box-to-box midfielder.

Believable38 Unbelievable15

I would be so happy if this news is true

Agree1 Disagree1

Is this the kid all the big club's are looking at? {Ed029's Note - FRom elsewhere - Kondogbia only moved last summer but Juventus would like to take him in the summer and Begiristain has said he is interested in the player and feels that the club can work with him to be a long term replacement for Yaya Torre. Monaco has asked about his availability whilst Real Madrid are looking to a deal for him that could see a player, Jese Rodriguez, included in the transaction on a loan, sale, or sale to buy back deal.}

The window isn't even open! That's like saying "I wish Arsenal would hurry up and score a goal" alf an hour before kick off!

Be patient, it's coming.

Agree0 Disagree2

You don't know who Arsenal have agreed to sign from they haven't as the window isn't open yet, we could well have several agreements in place for players for when the window opens. Calm yourself down and wait.

Agree0 Disagree1

Window doesn't need to be open to sign players just to register them

Agree1 Disagree0

That would be the day, that he can actually overbid anyone

Denilson's agent has confirmed that the midfielder has agreed to leave Arsenal by mutual consent this summer.

Believable89 Unbelievable7

About time!

Agree1 Disagree0

Why do we always lose our top players! When will it stop! We better not lose the morrocan messi

Br4dley

Agree1 Disagree0

Really happy to see him leave. This is big time to get rod of these fringe players. Expect Chamakh to leave as well

Agree0 Disagree0

Dreams do come true!

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I actually wuddve bin interested to c him come back and play a few games

Agree0 Disagree0

Just waiting for the greatest news that Djouru is gone then it will be the best summer ever!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

Mutual consent meaning a big fat payoff.

It's reported that Fiorentina are refusing to budge on the £25m price tag they have given Jovetic. In my opinion that's a fair enough deal for a young player of his quality. But is Wenger buying him as a CAM/CF or as a Striker?

If he is buying him to add creativity to our midfield I would much rather that £25-£30m was spent on better players, such as Fabregas, Isco, Reus etc. likewise there are better strikers out there in that price bracket. Although I would be over the moon if we signed him, that money could certainly be better spent. But hey £25. On Jovetic is better than combined £24m on Gervinhio, Squillaci amd Santos.

Also £25m on a GK, RB, CB and/or CDM would improve our team a lot more than yet another creative midfielder/forward. Just a thought.

Detroit Gooner

Believable42 Unbelievable11

Yeah buy reus and play him as a creative mid even though he's a striker great idea {Ed027's Note - He's not a striker, good idea though

Agree0 Disagree1

Detroit Gooner,

Have you actually watched Jovetic other than on Youtube? If yes, how many times?

And, if you think he is worth £25m, do you think Berbatov is worth £25m, or Yarmolenko {Ed027's Note - Are you also StEvE? You've posted under his name, wondering.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha busted

malaga gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Jovetic is not the typical striker, but I think if he would fit right in. Sorta how they do it at Barca. They don't really play with a big striker, but rather a skilled striker that can help others and the flow of the game. Some say its almost as though Barca plays with 8 midfielders at a time.

Agree1 Disagree0

Need jovitic he's class

Agree1 Disagree0

I think we should get Jovetic and play him as a false 9. Think that would work well.
