I have heard that higuain has defo signed for arsenal and he has been given the number 11 shirt for next season I don't know when this will be announced as we all know arsenal always take ages to announce things
Ali

Believable90 Unbelievable48

How do you know he has been given the Number 11 shirt?

Agree15 Disagree8

Any person could tell you a striker coming in would get offered the currently vacant number 11 shirt, not exactly hard to work out.
He might well want to keep his current Madrid number 20 shirt, which will be available now Djourou has all but left the club.

Agree10 Disagree6

Someone told me and I also saw it on a website and I took a screenshot shot of it on my phone and tge website have quickly changed it back which is a massive sign to me and the same website also did the same with cazorla and giroud before we annonced them
Ali

Agree5 Disagree7

Na I think he will take number 20!

Agree11 Disagree3

To mr no name saying about number 11 it was already taken before we gave it to higuain actually because it was santos number so before you get like that with me be sure you know your right and if you don't believe what i'm saying just wait and see
Ali

Agree8 Disagree1

Does anyone really give a monkeys what number he has? As long as he signs that's all that matters surely?

Agree21 Disagree1

Totally agree. He could wear his bloody phone number on the back and I wouldn't care as long as he runs out against the Villa first game of the season wearing an Arsenal shirt.

Agree4 Disagree0

Thats what i'm trying to say he has defo signed and he has been given the number 11
Ali

Agree2 Disagree1

He is wearing no 20

Agree0 Disagree0

Santos can take number 111. He won't be here much longer

Goose

Agree2 Disagree0

Right that's it. I am not having him wear that number, it's not fair. Who gives a. what number her plays in as long as he stuffs the ball in the back of the net

Agree0 Disagree0

ESPN has report that Higuain is flying to London

Agree0 Disagree0

Classic case of someone that pretends to be in the know. the deal is 99% going to happen only thing that is unknown is shirt number, logic would say he will take 11 (a usual number for forwards) or 20 (his current number) so you have decided to pick one and hope for the best. if you are correct you can tell us all you are 'in the know'!
this post is garbage. at least the likes of malaga gooner are entertaining, this is just plain uninteresting and clearly not true!
Brad

Agree0 Disagree0

Its 20 for sure

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are people getting so angry at the guy?! all he is saying is that Higuain has signed, and he is speculating he will wear number 11.
Brad, calm down! What has irked you so much?!
Prev.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with prev, calm down this is a rumour site, I just read it to see which way the winds blowing and short cut to mentioned articles. I don't think the poster has done anything wrong here to be getting all furious about. if he does know then he has reported it, if he is speculating then frankly who cares. it took up 5 seconds of your eyetime and at least its clear that higuain is coming so its not inaccurate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not clear that he's coming though is it? tv have just said that Higuain is in Madrid and that there are no plans for him to come for a medical, although Arsenal are still keen! Our negotiating team should be sacked, get David Dein back NOW!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with brad. It's a rumour site not a guess site.

Agree0 Disagree0

And how do you think rumours start? majority of it is guess work that has taken off. If this was just for genuine facts that come from the club it would be the official club website.

coquelin off to freiburg on loan with kondogbia set to be his replacement

Believable34 Unbelievable50

First bit is on various sites, but what evidence have you seen re Kondogbia

Agree13 Disagree2

Kondogbia would be a great buy, but our chances are slim. Both Chelsea and Real Madrid are after him and Chelsea have been cute and have given his club, Sevilla, Marko Marin on loan and may also offer a loan for Oriel Romeu.
Wenger will have to work his magic on this one, but the lad is French so you never know.

Agree0 Disagree0

My understanding is that real madrid have pulled out of the race for kondogbia and I don't understand why he would go to chelsea they have a lot of midfielders already and he won't get much game time there. {Ed029's Note - From a post on another page by Ed02 - Real Sociedad will look for a very significant fee for Asier Illarramenti who is of interest to Real Madrid - but their preference will be to keep the player. If Real Madrid cannot strike a deal for Illarramendi, they will continue to look to reaching agreement for Kondogbia that could see a player, Jese Rodriguez, included in the transaction on a loan, sale, or sale to buy back deal. That in itself is complicated by a separate situation with Jese Rodriguez.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Sevilla have rejected a 7.7m bid for him from an unnamed club, on the 28th June.

"The bid wasn't sufficient, " del Nido revealed.

"The idea is that he continues growing here at Seville, just like he did last season. "

Agree0 Disagree0

Good news, I hope coquelin gets enough playing time

Liverpool Echo Is Reporting That Suarez Could Go To Arsenal William Hill Have Stopped Any Bets On The Move!

Believable16 Unbelievable80

! Has anyone told Arsenal of this deal?

Agree21 Disagree0

Please god no. Bad move! The guy is a genius with a football but also a walking liability!

Agree16 Disagree12

He is an excellent player but isn't he banned for the first 11 games? If he is cheaper due to this then great, if not then why bother

Agree13 Disagree3

Suarez's agent is brother of Pep Guardiola. Bets on move to Arsenal were placed in Barcelona. Suggestion that acquaintances were used to place bets to flush out a bid from Real Madrid, which is where Suarez wants to go. In any event a few hundreds on Arsenal at 20/1 would soon skew a dead market. Could be well worth an agent's time and money for the potential fee he could generate from R. M.
Sensible wager is to back eventual destination as Madrid.

Agree12 Disagree1

No thanks, we don't want the extra baggage the guy will come with.

Agree3 Disagree2

As a Ghana fan this is a no go I despise him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Good point Smartie.

Was reasoning with a fellow Gooner today that if WE had sent out 10 guys to place 3 £5k bets each on the same then we would probably have saved a couple £M's in price Madrid were prepared to accept for Higuain too! Lol

Everyone's a winner!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that you Andy / CLG?

AG

Agree1 Disagree0

Smartie1947 is on the money, possibly the most intelligent post you'll read here all summer, that and Higuain is now a Gooner!
