Hello these are the players come the summer i think Arsene will sign
subotic
honda
hazard (if real madrid keep there noses out)
i don't think we will sign a goalkeeper or a striker just because the manager has complete faith in the ones that we have and he will more than likely promote wellington and the japenese boy also there are a couple of strikers eager to get in the first team .

I think all our problems could be answered by signing Jan Vertonghen. On technical ability he's Arsenal standard, he's 6 ft plus, he's strong. His signing would mean we could actually rotate our defenders. If we ever needed an emergency left back, he can play left centre back with Vermaelen at Left Back. Also his ability at Defensive Mid would mean that Song could actually have competition and the odd break. Also if Wilshere moves further up the field he could find his permanent place there. What would he be £12 million?

Other than Vertonghen who I think should be our top priority this summer all our efforts should go into keeping Fabregas. Eden Hazard would be a great addition to the team as would a striker but I'd so those more as bonuses. I'm just desperate for the defense to be finally sorted and I really don't think it's that far from being so.

The following players have been plausibly linked to Arsenal in the past few days:
Pepe Reina - I don't think we'll buy him, too expensive, we have Szczesny and Fabianski will return. Plus Vito soon coming back from loan.
Stefan de Vrij - plays for Feyenoord with whom we have a new found relationship. Plays CB and RB and could provide crucial cover as a fourth CB, and could be the long term backup RB once we cash in on Eboue, whenever that is.
Mamadou Sakho - If Vermaelen recovers ok, I can't see us going for this guy, even though Arsene admires him. He's left-footed and plays the same position as Vermaelen.
Sergio Canales - Some people think this is a long shot. I do not. he's still worth only about 6m, and his value has not increased in Madrid because he has played only 5 times. Maybe the next Cesc, able to change a game on his own.
Eden Hazard - Perennially linked to Arsenal, we have to snap him up this summer. Long term successor to Arshavin?
Kevin Gameiro - Plays for Lorient from where we got Koscielny and where Sunu and Coquelin are currently on loan. has a decent record, but im not sure he's good enough for the Premier League.
Felipe Melo - rumours of a swap deal with Juventus involving Denilson are abound. This guy has a serious anger management problem, but could that be what we need? some aggression in midfield. He's better than Denilson in any case and has had an awful couple of years, lowering his price tag.

I would love to see De Vrij, Canales and Hazard signed up. The first 2 would cost 10m for both, plus the 15m odd for Hazard. Considering the likes of Squillaci, Almunia, Rosicky and Denilson are likely to leave, this could be just what we need. Sakho would be a bonus.

I think Wenger will take a role upstairs at Arsenal at the end of next season, regardless of success/ failure.

I think the tour of Japan has a dual purpose, obviously Ryo Miauchi and the opportunity to recruit a possible successor in Dragan Stojkovic.

There will be a bit of a clearout this Summer. I am not sure who

Peace
