Here are Samba's last tweets from the last 2 days.

Had a meeting in London today with important clients, decisions to be made
Had a good day, not sure what to think, thanks for all the positive messages
Thanks to all the Arsenal supporters for their positive messages, however my current loyalty is with Blackburn
Very pleased with the news from my agent, many thanks

Assuming its really his twitter account (ChrisSamba4) it would appear that he was in London meeting with clubs, the agent tweet sounds like he has been offered a contract with somebody. Of course it could be crap but now you have the source of the rumour you can make your own mind up. Check out his twitter account for yourself.

Hearing from at least 4 people, AFC have signed Peter Odemwingie. Whether or not this is true, I cannot verify 100% but the sources aren't usually wrong.

I won't bulls**t. I don't have a man on the inside.
I have however just heard that Samaba has signed for a London club. Presumably Arsenal.

News will break today or tomorrow.

yesterday's international surely showed AW just how poor Djourou is. He gave away 1 penalty, was lucky with a blatant second on Walcott and was found wanting so many times it was embarrassing. Why is he repeatedly played? He is so lightweight it is unreal. As for Theo, he has pace to burn but he was back to his old ways, no control, ran but didn't take the ball with him and when he was in a good position he showed his lack of footballing brain by always choosing the wrong option. We need top replacements. With the sale of Denilson, Clichy, Arshavin, Rosicky, Squillacci etc., Arsenal WILL have money to spend but don't hold your breath, it won't happen, we'll bring in more cheaper options and will end up just as we did this year, if we are lucky! Samba is not the answer, an excellent reserve but not the answer to our defensive problems. We MUST get a top cb along with a top lb (Gibbs is too injury prone and not yet ready anyway), as well as a dominant cm, a winger and a top, top striker to work with RVP. Until the money is spent, we will be very lucky to get 4th spot.

Wenger to convince Nasri and Cesc to stay (Nasri extending contract) by making a couple key purchases.

ins:
Benzema £26
Howedes £12
Baines £11
Matuidi £8
Alvarez
cheap goalkeeper
some young players

outs:
Bendtner
Denilson
Clichy
Almunia
Squillaci

Benzema has long been a target for Wenger and he wants a world class striker to partner RvP for years to come. Howedes from Schalke will be the new experienced center back. Leighton Baines will replace Clichy who will leave this summer. Matuidi will be purchased to either play alongside Song as Wilshere did this year to allow Wilshere to play further up or serve as Song's backup (Fringpong might be loaned). A cheap but experienced older goalkeeper will be purchased to serve as the 3rd choice behind the 2 young Pols since Lehmann is retiring again and Almunia is out.

rare active summer in the transfer market for Wenger but he realizes its make or break if he is to keep his top players and keep the faith of the fans.
