TalkSport is now reporting Arsenal are after Phil Jones. I think ESPN Soccernet reported the same thing earlier in the week. There may be some truth to this story.

No talk about Simon Kjaer this summer? He's been pretty good this season in a poor Wolfsburg side and would be available if they get relegated. Probably not that expensive either, certainly not in the Cahill/ Subotic/ Sakho £15-20m price bracket.

Arsenal cannot sell half its squad and neither can they buy 11 players.

With the Carling Cup, FA cup, EPL, and CPL that's 4 competitions to compete in.

We have Kos and Djourou but we need a partner for vermalen. .someone to be better than the two who currently keep the line at the back.

We Need a GK. .If sczesny goes down we r in trouble. Sczesny is at the moment a great no2 option. .he can play the FA cup and Carling cup games but we need a wise old git between the sticks.

We have a bundle of midfield talents. .but we need a DM. diaby aint cutting it and denilson never looked like a football player. If rodwell rumours are true (which they arent) but if it was. .then awesome.

We have Nasri, wilshere, ramsey, rosicky, cesc, arshavin, walcott. I do know rosicky has a year to run so maybe wenger will try get a fee for him, and arshavin is 30, so a one year deal may not cut it. I'd love cesc to stay but as much as barca say they don't want him, the fact is they do.

We will need to buy a wide winger such as hazard, mata, marin, bojan, or whoever.

In regards to our strikers. .van persie and chamakh are there to stay, vela will be given a year and bendtner is on his way out. .unless he shuts up and accepts a 3rd striker role.
