I believe we really miss Rosicky, when he returned to the team last season he drove us forward looked to link up play quickened our game up(which is what we are lacking now) the results and performances improved vastly when he returned, the problem is where would he fit in?
When he came on against udinese last year in champions league he changed the game, we miss his drive and penetration quick one twos..

He would play where Ramsey's been playing mate.

True, metal gooner but it still leaves us short of pace out wide but a massive upgrade on Ramsey that is for sure

He'll certainly play where Rambo has MG, but do you not think Rosickys control and ball skill will be much more effective than Ramseys "run with ball" method.
It's unfair to be too harsh, because Ramsey isn't a wide player by any stretch!
And I wasnt putting that as a "calling you out" or something mate, just wondered if you'd agree?

Rosicky will at least make their defenders defend, and his link up play will bring Giroud into the game more,Giroud is so isolated up front alone and is being judged by some on that, when he gets that link up man we will see giroud's qualities shine through, although he will not be a goal machine.
Rosicky's ability is to bring others into the game, Not our saviour but certainly an experienced player with quality

Ramsey out injured for Schalke, surely Walcott must start now.

The biggest problem with Arsenal is the formtion. Its clear the 4-3-3 isn't working and won't work. A Rigid 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 will get the best out of the players.

Agree that formation is wrong - but its far more complicated than saying 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 (which is what we actually use).

The modern football game is not actually based on formations, it is based on movement. Whether it's a 4-4-2 or 2-5-3, what dictates the success and balance of the team is the movement of the individual players. The only area that can actually be treated as a "formation" is the back 4, when defending.

Arsenal's problem at the moment is that we seem very very static - and I am not sure what is causing this. Players seem too focused on their 'zones' and are not seeing eye-to-eye on who drifts into a zone, when another player drifts out. As a result, we have a bunch of static players and Cazorla making doing all the 'moving'.

This is not specifically a problem of players or formations - but of urgency, drive and confidence. A change in formation will probably help here, but out players need to get comfortable moving intelligently again.

Sadly, the one player with movement is usually wrong... Santos. Thing about man utd and how dynamic the players are. We used to be the team famous for this.

Worried for the team...

Absolutely. The 4-3-3 has been dreadful: Tomorrow he could play:
Mannone
Jenkinson (rest Sagna) Merte Kos Verm
Walcott Arteta Coquelin Cazorla
Podolski Giroud

I have been wishing we played 442 since the begining of last season... it is now time we pushed Walcott forward with captain slow... with a midfield of Podolski, Arteta, Wilshere & Cazorla!!
Hopping Wenger puts TV5 over Santos and Jenkinson in resting Sagna with BFG and Boscielny in the centre... this formation untill Ox and Gibbs return from injury list!! possably be a winning side for the 6 games we have in this month... what every 1 else thinkin?

Reports say we are in for Yoann Gourcuff in January. Can I please say.....NO, NO, NO, NO, PLEASE NO! He is an average player, he is having a terrible season, and we DO NOT need anymore sub par French players who can't adjust to the league!

No Thanks, we have Rosicky and Diaby.

See, my heart'd take him, as I actually think he can be big.

My brain wouldn't touch him with spurs.
