Ed can you shed any light on alex song leaving barca and if so where?

Read a rumour on the net that he might have found another club but it didn't say who. Thought maybe you might have some info

This may sound crazy, but I would welcome song back. He had some impressive ball winning skills, could hold off pressure on the ball and at times he demonstrated great vision. a few impeccable through balls to the money grabbing. (fill in. dealer's choice). come to mind. while he had zero positional sense and abdicated he's defensive duties too easily, he had the makings of a great DM.

Used to like him but got too big for his boots and trouble maker

Plus not disciplined in defending

May be some humble pie and told yo defend - he may be ok but not sure plus not very mobile

In his final season for us, only David Silva had more assists in the premier league. He is a fantastic footballer, but yes, as others have said, lacks defensive discipline.

Ed002, you said you expect arteta to go I didn't realise there was concrete interest in him, would you expect a DM replacement if he goes and none if he dosnt?

Supposedly if we do sell tv5, arteta, coq, djorou, miyachi, I still don't think Arsenal will spend more than 40 mill; which btw would still take our net spending to over 100 mill! My best guess is we would sign a world class dm for around 30 mill and a back up cb for 10 mill. So I don't think we will be getting a striker unless a really good deal comes up. Like benzema for a cut price!

I really wouldn't. Typically some people just remember his good times. I remember he was a liability in from of our back 4

I wouldn't take Song back. Had he stayed with us instead of getting his head turned he'd have matured into a class CDM - but now he should just move on from warming the Barca bench to sinking into it permanently. (No hate here as you can see)

I'm reading that barca have bid for verm. If it's asking price, take it and move on, he really doesn't wasn't to be here.
Also read that we are lining up agger from liverhampton as a replacement. Not a world beater but an experienced premium defender, I'd take that.
