Gazidis is not on holiday he is in france tying up deals for capoue and Lloris, the Lloris deal is dependant on Bentdner going other way to Lyon as part of deal. Also Wenger will try to keep Rvp to last year of contract unless transfer request is handed in which case he will go to Juventus.

Rvp has a 2million too loose if he hands in transfer request which is why he announced that he would not sign contract on his own website in an attempt to engineer a move.
Arsenal have known since christmas Rvp would not sign hence the fast transfer activity Poldolski and Giroud, and reason no squad no has been assigned to them.

This info is from a friend who works for Legal firm slaughter and May who draw up draft contracts for Arsenal!!

I am a bit dubious about posting this as a rumour, but this person told me before the deadline day that we would sign santos last summer, it shocked me but came true.

but he has claimed wenger will be trying to operate a deal with real madrid with Van Persie going there, and Ozil to come to us. he said this is subject to a modric-madrid move.


but we will have to watch out for this!

If this is even possible it is likely ozil would come to us due to us having podolski and mertesacker

Van Persie to Madrid is possible. I won't be unhappy with him too much if he go to Madrid
Madrid like to sign one world class player a season. Van Persie is considered by many as third best players behind Messi and Ronaldo. They can sell Higauin who is unhappy to Paris SG.
I would be very happy if they allow either Ozil/Kaka to leave for us, if they do sign Modric it would be a real possibility

I have it on good authority that Denilson's loan has been extended as part of a deal that has been agreed for Casemiro for £10 million plus the loan deal he is an alternative to M'vila who won't sign. The deal will be bone in two weeks and arsenal have applied for a work permit.

news in belgium mathias suarez has been granted a work permit and will join arsenal in the coming days.
arsenal are close to agreeing a 5year deal for zapate from villareal for a fee of 5mil
wenger is looking at granero or sahin they both seem simmilar to arteta and ramsey not sure we need them

Whilst it is dissapointing to see RVP go, can we really blame him? He almost single handedly got us into the CL next season and the club continually fail to invest in proven quality in the areas needed. Why are we trying to get Hugo Lloris when we already have a top keeper, when it is blatantly obvious that we need strengthening in other areas, particularly midfield wher we rely on Diaby, Rosicky, Arteta, Song and Wilshere who between them missed a large part of last season with injury. We continue to keep players of average ability such as Djourou and Walcott (yes he is average) and these 2 should be sold to bolster the coffers. It is interesting to see that Walcott now has itchy feet, knowing that the OX is likely to take his place this season. Let's all get behind Wenger as I am sure that he is not to blame for the loss of our star players over recent seasons, and he is hampered by a blinkered board who take for granted the fabulous support the fans give (at great cost) and are not prepared to invest sufficiently to enable us to challenge for the top prizes. Time will tell whether the fans continue to turn up home and away to see a team, who at best, will be competing for a place in the CL, which seems a little pointless when we don't have a team capable of winning it and the funds received from competing are just swallowed up by a greedy board.

Haha. Keep dreaming van persie is not leaving the premier league. He is 29 and does not have time to adjust to another league. He will take a safer option and stay with a league he is proven in. It will be career suicide to move out of country, especially since he has choices.

Hi eds, i have been told on good authority that walcot wont be signing a new contract. Many gooners may say good riddence, but again this will be one of our main assets going for nothing or hardly anything. if van persie was in a 3year deal we could be demanding £30-40mill and £20-£30 mill for walcott. What people are running out club? Even if the plan is to move players on and keep in profit it makes bo sense at all to lose these players for nothing. many may say im negitive but i speak what most gunners are thinking! do we honestly see song, vemaelen wilshire etc saying at a club that doesnt challenge? also i feel our free flowing football that has entertained many for years may start to be effected which will distance managers such as guadiola which have been mooted as future managers. im struggling to see the attraction now for star signings. People wud cone to play with the likes of walcott and van persie

What a load of negative crap. you have no idea if walcotts going to stay or go, you also have no idea whether arsenal want him or not.
i would go down the more positive route of this is your time theo, replace rvp up front and lets buy another winger
as for rvp he had made his mind before the start of last season, just look at his comments about not going in the same direction as him, since last year we have rid ourselves of the uncommitted players and purchased two full German international, the Ox, Arteta, Giroud and Santos with more to come, to me that show signs of improvement.

I feel the need to respond. I am disappointed VP is leaving - where is the loyalty - disappointed that he sis saying the club has no vision. But I am not too bothered...he can go and will be replaced. I feel a great season but he is one tackle from being injured and if we can het �20m for him..do it. BUT the issue I have is will we replace him? That is the issue. Walcott can go. If he was not English, I am sure we would be treating him like Arshavin. Wow what a day what a day, ive worked it out as long as wenger saves his game before he plays the opposition whatever the result he can just re-load it and play it again till he wins, therefore isn't heskey still available, certainly an adequate replacement
