Wot a team well done simply class
hold your heads high milan scrap through but arsenal best team of the night

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah we were good tonight but id never say we were at our best tbh several misplaced passes but 1 thing we did have was great spirit i to was very proud to be a gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Great game. Well deserved win. Unfortunate that we couldn't keep the deficit down in the first leg!

I hope Walcott is alright. Will need him for Newcastle!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm more worried about the ox - he was our best player tonight, such an exciting talent - so happy he's a gooner.

AG

Agree0 Disagree0

T. rositski was the best player by far

Agree0 Disagree0

We played well... just a shame about the referee being very inconsistent and making bad decisions... we would of won it with a little more luck

Del Piero to Arsenal on a free in the summer. GoonerDan

Believable8 Unbelievable42

I'd actually quite like that as he'd provide great experience and a winning mentality, however considering he's...36?37? And would want maybe 100k plus per week, it won't happen, he's more likely to go to QPR or the UAE if he doesn't retire

Agree0 Disagree0

Del piero to arsenal would be a shock signing for the rreason hes agae apart hes one of the best in the world still at the top of hes game wot he could provide simply magic

I have a really exciting/nervous feeling something special could happen tonight. What we need is to get EVERYONE united in support. No criticising the team, the manager, the selections...even if we dislike them, let's just rock out at the Emirates for our team and hope they have one of those games where the majority of our chances find the back of the net.

would u take torres, 20 mil? if chelski are willing to make that loss,

Believable40 Unbelievable17

Yes I would take him for 20 mil. He is class but is currenly massively low on confidence, just like the majority of the underperforming Chelski team. If Wenger was to bring him in and give him freedom to play, at 20 mil he wouldn't have the pressure of an extraordinary price tag on his back either

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I would, definitely. He hasn't been scoring that well but he's been playing quite well and he's set up a lot of goals (e.g. the pass before the assist). All he needs is to go to a club where he feels valued instead of put upon and his confidence will return. He is incredible on his day, even if this offer never came about, I hope he returns to form, players like him make the EPL what it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take him for 30 million the geezer is awesome Chelsea don't play to him they are so used to a lump up to drogba Torres not that type of player play into his feet and give him confidence that's a 30 goal a season forward with a lot to prove. I think if Carroll had gone to Chelsea he may have had better luck as they play a type of fake that suits him as Liverpool play to feet (the Torres way)

Bergkamp wonderland

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be a perfect for arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

He is made to play 4 us,i would go up to 30 mill 4 him

Agree0 Disagree0

The only problem would be his wages he has to be on close to 200k a week
dave.w

Agree0 Disagree0

I think hes on 160k a week, but surely he would drop his demands its about winning and scoring not about money for a player like him in the condition hes in.

Anyway chelsea will not give up on him yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's an interesting question, wenger always seems to get the best out of players who've been discarded by their clubs such as Van persie, and Torres would probably given a new lease of life by wenger, players like Shezza and kos who we've all slagged off (let's face it we ALL have at least once) are now mainstays in our team, my problem is that I think Torres is one of those players who needs to be told how good he is all the time, and Arsene won't do that.

In short I'd take him, but I see him ad s gamble

I fully agree with resting RVP. Even if we would beat Milan, there are tougher teams we would have to face. Our absolute priority should be catching up to Spurs in the league and getting that third place. Spurs have lost two games in a row now and we have won two and are now only four points behind them in the table. We need van Persie to be fit for the league.
Eman.

Believable17 Unbelievable6

We are the form team in the premier league with 4 wins on the trot so it is imperitive that RVP does not get injured. I think if we have not made any headway by half time in the game tonight then RVP should be replaced at half time.
KJ

Agree0 Disagree0

With our form, especially RVPs, and his total commitment to the cause, I don't think he will be too willing to sit this one out. Especially with AW openly saying that we are going to go for it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a real dilema this Milan game.On 1 hand RVP and the CTR backs should probably sit it out for protection. on the other its not totally out of reach. i guess again it just smacks home how poor our squad is. especially our back up strikers.

Agree0 Disagree0

In order to keep the run of form running in the league we should be aiming to win every match to help maintain moral & self belief. The best chance of winning tonight is with RVP on the pitch so he should start. give him until 60 mins and if we're not 3-0 up then sub him.

I was away at the weekend so never got to see any of the match. Just wondering could anyone tell me why Diaby went off. Did he get injured again or was in precaution. What happened?
RD

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Injured again, when physio came on for another player Diaby started to talk to him, i could see something was not right, 40K+ week sick not....

How is it possible that RVP is the league's top goal scorer and has carried Arsenal for the last six months and is yet to win a player of the month award?

Believable23 Unbelievable2

He won it in November mate.

Bermy Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry I meant October

Bermy Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

He''ll win PFA and football writers player of the year i am certain of that

Agree0 Disagree0

He will even be shortlisted for ballor d or...may even make it to the final 3...the other two are mainstays so its good even if rvp gets mentioned along with them.
