not sure if reliable but rtvfan.net report according to french media. arsenal agreed a fee of £35m for eden hazard . £30m bid was rejected first but then new bid was agreed and hazard will probably be wearing a arsenal shirt in jan. like said not sure if the site is reliable.

Believable17 Unbelievable28

Yep i read it aswell! i hope its true!

Agree0 Disagree0

I just hope the transfer window opens and his their not at the end of the window! looool

Why would Hazard want to come to a mid-table club who offers Sh*t wages, can't negotiate a simple deal, is more interested in pocketing money than buying quality and refuses to spend 19 million on a release clause for an amazing player (Juan Mata). Hazard will either go to Chelsea to link with Torres, Mata, Sturidge as their future or Manc Sh*tty for a fat, fat pay cheque, but I can't actually blame him as we are physically incapable getting past the last 16 in a competition, let alone winning a trophy. Hazard and Goetze to Chelsea and RVP and Vermaelan to City. Wiltshire to Real Madrid by Christmas 2012.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice to see you still have faith in your club?

Agree0 Disagree0

Somones optimistic ^^

Someone needs to step back from the ledge, haha!

Arsenal are the 3rd biggest club in the world. we have not won a trophy for ages as we all know.

Everyone is a man utd fan coz most asians love the premier league and support the winner...we start winning down the line and we will be the no1 club in the world.

Barcelona are only famous coz the world is in love with messi...fair enough i love him too, just not in a gay way.

Have patience, get behind your financially stable team and btw the only team in the world at that level of competition which has spent a net of 16 million in 15 years and been in the thick of it all.

We will show the world how its done. When we are on top it will be a brand for the ages.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would that be like the last 6 years when you have shown the world?

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest we are certainly not the 3rd biggest club in the world, as an Arsenal fan it is obvious Man Utd, Barca and Real mardid are clearly bigger clubs and if our season continues in this fashion we'll end up much lower down.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow I have supported Arsenal for what seems like forever, and it means a lot to me. But 3rd biggest club in the world! wow Barcelona are only famous because of Messi? Hmm you don't think it's because they win trophies, have massive support, have constantly attracted the best players in the world - you might remember someone called Cruyff, and play the best football ever. Man Utd are evidently only above us because of Asian support - not the fact that they are the second most succesful side in the world, led by Britain's most succesful manager ever, and have attracted the best players from Charlton and Best to Giggs and Rooney, or indeed have a genuine talent for spotting and buying the best young talent and brining through great home produced players (unlike the mass failure under Arsene)

As for Arsenal seriously, we aren't even the 3rd biggest club in England now. In the world we would be lucky on tradition to make the top ten, and on current form the 50.

Arsene has done brilliantly for Arsenal, and had the last 10 months not happened would have been no doubt our best manager ever. He might even still end up that way, but in truth no club since Leeds has had such a massive decline, and we don't have the same excuses they did - our failure belongs entirely to appaling management.

Sorry but without Sagna now our defence is so poor that it is as bad as the one that Liam had to play in front of when we just avoided relegation many years ago. Without Wilshere, Cesc, and Nasri our midfiled is mid table at best, and without RVP we have no attack. Forget the future for now and just worry about scrapping with our current peers at Wolves, QPR and Swansea etc.

~~~~Arsenal rumour~~~~~
If Ivan Gazidis remains on the board at Arsenal:
*we will not buy anyone significant in January
*we will not qualify for the Champions League
*we will lose our top players in the summer
*we will no longer be able to attract good players and top young talents
*we will have a midtable calibre squad for several seasons to come
*we will only have a business, not a football club
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gazidis spoke to the media today. This is just one of his quotes.

"We would rather qualify for it [Champions League] but we have a really sustainable model that can cope without it. Not just cope, but we can do well and compete."

Are you kidding me? Gazidis is a disgrace and needs to be ousted immediately. It's okay if we don't qualify for the Champions League because the business model means the club will be fine financially? Ummm.... what about in football terms? If we don't qualify for the Champions League, ctwe lose our best players and will not be able to attra top players. And saying that we can do well and compete?!?! THE OBJECTIVE IS TO WIN TROPHIES, not to continually finish in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

What a clown. This guy needs to go work for Bank of America or something. He has no interest in football and clearly only cares about the club from a business perspective. Nothing will change if Gazidis is still on the board.

Arsenal fans should start calling for him to resign and protest him at the matches. Absolute disgrace.

Believable69 Unbelievable2

You're right. he should'nt even think about not qualifing for champions league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice post

Agree0 Disagree0

I forgot to mention that in the quote when he says "we have a really sustainable model that can cope without it" he is referring to the club's financial model. He is not even considering the footballing aspect.

Google News him and you can read the full article. It is shocking how he only focuses on finances.

Agree0 Disagree0

Silly for a club to reply on CL for revenue? thats 30m at least instead of the 5m liverpool got from the europa league! foolish my arse

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be interesting to see just how sustainable our model is come season ticket renewal time next year if we are not in the CL

Agree0 Disagree0

Even the watford board would aim to be in the top 4 of the epl everyone should aim for it

Agree0 Disagree0

That dude is a clown to make such comments, though he was answering specific questions from reportors i would suspect.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a clown, but he is not the one picking the team, the formation, the tactics or motivating the team.
don`t get blinded to facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

We can't do well and compete without the Champions league football,because the best players want to play in the Champions league anyway.I'm no expert,but Gazidis is a t**t.REINSTATE DAVID DEIN.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks a spot on post and absolutely reflects what has happened at the club. Dein had a sensible thirst for football glory, and combined with a younger inspirational Arsene created glory. Gazidis is a horror story and combined with an older more cautious Arsene has led us to disaster.

Arsenel Wenger feels as though chamakh hasn't proven his worth.
so he will be shipped out to PSG.
It is rumoured Arsene wenger will take Nikola Zigic on loan to add Height to the attack once Chamakh has departed.

What do you think Arsenals chances of buying Canales from Valencia are. He is 20 and looking quality. Passing and creativity was amazing. No Chelsea player could get near him the other day.

Wenger needs to have a look at him.

Tony

Believable23 Unbelievable11

He's only on loan at Valencia pal, still contracted to real madrid

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes on loan from madrid

Agree0 Disagree0

We try'd to get him when he was with racing stantander in spain but he chose real only not even to sit on the bench.if he came to arsenal 2 yrs ago he be a star now

Agree0 Disagree0

Wenger shouldnt look at him, cos if he does he's gonna sleep over it till manc or manu, chelsea or liverpool snatch him off our radar.

Wenger please go for him now!! cos u lost ur touch!

Gourcuff supposdly said to the press he was flatterd by the Arsenal intrest on deadline day. He could add that creative drive that Nasri had. Not been brilliant since his move to Lyon so maybe knock a few million off aswell?
