Good Evening Ed002,

I am seeing reports that Kolasinac and Arsenal have agreed to terminate his contract, with Fenerbache also offering him a 3 year deal. Is there any truth in this?

Thank you 😁.

Ed2, Can you please tell me. last year we were running after Aouar and couldn't sign him because of funds . This year he is available for the half the price but we are not doing anything about it . What has changed?

{Ed002's Note - Houssem Aouar (CM) Lyon were frustrated by Arsenal not taking a realistic approach to trying to complete the transfer of the player last summer and with PSG for failing to make a suitable offer. Having lost out on their primary CM choice there remains a chance PSG could look to him again. With the impact of the broadcasting losses, clubs in France are facing a difficult time and Lyon have reduced their €60M asking price this summer to ensure a sale. Juventus interest has drifted as they have a preferred target in mind after failed offers including Federico Bernardeschi and Mattia De Sciglio, who Lyon are keen on but they want to separate the deals. There has been concern about his recent form and this was reflected by Real Madrid showing no interest when approached by his agent approached by his agent. Barcelona were also approached but they will not be in a position to do anything unless Frenkie de Jong is tempted away from the club. Fabio Paratici has taken his interest from Juventus to Spurs. Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and others have sent scouts to watch him over the past couple of seasons but none have declared an interest or looked to make an offer for Aouar. Arsenal will be told a take it or leave it price and be expected to pay it - a third party will be used by Arsenal in any direct discussions but he is not top of the list for the club right now and Arsenal are trying very hard to sell to recover funds. Atletico Madrid will offer an option if Saul leaves - even with De Paul also arriving.}

Top of the list being Madison?

{Ed002's Note - The finances for Madison make it difficult so I suspect that the club could look to seeing if anything can be done with Martin Odegaard again.}

Please not Ode - do you rate him Ed?

Hi Ed's, thanks again for your insight. I understand you've previously said that with regards to a striker, a more modest signing than Martinez is likely. Any idea of who we're looking at?
Thanks again!

{Ed002's Note - Odsonne Edouard (S) West Ham have enquired (with his agent) after the availability of OE but the player is apparently not keen on the move. He was open to a move to Leicester but they moved on. For now there are no offers are on the table but Celtic would listen to a significant offer. Arsenal see the player as a Lacazette replacement and Southampton may try for him. Aston Villa and Brentford interest has gone. Brighton have him as an option.
Paul Onuachu (S) Growing interest but the player wants the Premier League. Arsenal and West Ham have looked at him. Lyon offer an option but the Coutanou Agreement may ease a move to Sevilla.
Moussa Dembele (S) option.
Tammy Abraham (S) Was asked to sign a contract extension but is being a bit of a prima donna and a bitch which the club won't tolerate so the club will let him leave in the summer. Potential option for Wolves and Aston Villa but both have preferred options. West Ham have a huge list of potential striker options and have repeatedly failed to resolve their issue - they may come in to play. Borussia Dortmund asked Chelsea about his availability but it seems unlikely even though they have missed out on their preferred option. Atalanta are pressing Chelsea over the price and may provide a solution. Newcastle, Arsenal and Milan may provide a wildcard options but Milan has preferred targets. Is being offered around.
Ivan Toney (S) The player decided on a move to Brentford in the summer instead of Swansea or Brighton. Celtic also made enquiries. After a very good start to the season he has attracted scouts from a number of Premier League sides including Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Arsenal, and again Brighton. Brentford have no interest in selling.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (S) with Everton in need of adding a strikers and others leaving the chances of DCL being sold unless a very significant offer arises are zip. Arsenal are looking for a striker but any interest they have will be at a far lower fee. Manchesteer United may provide an option but might prefer to wait until next yearExpect him to stay.
Tiago Tomas (F) Sporting are happy to letter the youngster move on as they see his development having stalled. Arsenal has been suggested by his agent as a possible destination - although he would not be one for the first team at this time but might be a potential replacement if Arsenal were to lose Folarin Balogun.
Joaquin Correa (F/AM) West Ham had JC on a lengthy list of targets after his agent hawked him around the London clubs but were put off by the €40M asking price. Lazio want to upgrade and are willing to sell. Spurs has an interest but would want a loan to buy as they regroup under Paratici and have a preferred option to replace Kane but do not be surprised at an offer. Arsenal have made an "inadequate" offer for the player as they are struggling to find buyers and have taken to a bit of a scatter gun approach. If Icardi leaves PSG he is very much on their list. Chelsea have preferred options but he has been offered to them, Everton, Inter (who will be interested if Martinez or Lukaku leave) and Manchester City.}
