Can we all just share a thought for the family of manolo preciado, Preciado passed away today at 54 years old.

And also for Jermaine Defoe and his family, after the passing of his father.

As much as we all love it, football seems irrelevant sometimes

You are right mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

He was a great personality - I watch a lot of La Liga and watching him on the sidelines was almost as good as watching the match itself.

Plus he managed to end Mourinho's unbeaten home streak!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a rumors website not a latest headlines website

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly, the people that clicked disagree need to sort them selfs out. I'd like the 3 people that did to name them selfs, but then again they wouldn't, gutless veil people.

Ben X.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a shame - but doesn't make football irrelevant - that's stronging it a bit

Agree0 Disagree0

Gregors traitorelli.

Agree0 Disagree0

Must people do find it sad but no need to post it on here.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ben x what difference would it make if s1 posted there name ,everyone is entitled to agree /disagree

Ed Im suprised that no one has been linked to Juao Moutinho (sp) do you know of his intentions and is there any chance of him joining ?
Thanks
BG1 {Ed002's Note - Rumours persist of Moutinho moving to Chelsea if they would pay the 30M euros required but realistically it is unlikely to happen.}

Believable25 Unbelievable32

Braintreegooner

Agree0 Disagree0

@BFairthorne and Sportstrend have told me about Vila is done and they both been right about many many things

Welshgooner

Agree0 Disagree0

It is getting a bit tiresome, i know i know. no one can reveal sources, but why wait man, whats the score

Ashman

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard his agent says forget about signings until after Euros, want to attract attention from around the world. Hope it is a done deal though.

Ryo Miyachi apparently looking at a loan move to Southhampton. Might be good experience at a team that plays a nice passing game in the mould of Norwich and Swansea.

Stewart

Believable31 Unbelievable8

Miyaichi needs to play for our first team, he is already good enough, he could just play in the carling cup

Hi,
As many of you have heard Ivan Gazidis is looking to slash Arsenal's yearly wage bill by £23 Million with the squad players being on £60k a year either being sold or released. Manuel Almunia has already been released meaning £3 million a year has been put back into the wage fund. He believes that this will help us bring in new talent.

Believable12 Unbelievable35

If they let Alaba go after the way he played for them the last two months, I'll pay for his plane ticket to London from Dortmund....let Arsene know, I'm ready

Heard that arsenal are in talks for a switch of Arshavin for Dempsey.

i think this is a good move, however i dont know if arshavin will want to move to fulham.

JJ Gooner

Believable16 Unbelievable44

Arshavin will leave for CSKA Moscow in a swap deal for Honda

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like a more feesable option than clint dempsey.. honda would be a better player for the club more suited talent.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather take Dembele or Doumbia if we do business wit CSKA

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin will probably go back to Russia,as he has said before that he doesn't like the food and lifestyle of London life.I think he'll end up back at Zenit.
Braintreegooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin may move but not to another russian club, fulham too small for him. he still has skill, he may move to spain or germany or zenit if their interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah because Fulham will pay his big salary.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin will be on loan next season from arsenal to another club. He wont be bought, nobody wants to spend money on him.
Same for bendtner. Same for denilson. Same for vela.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arshavin is going to zenit

Agree0 Disagree0

Since u all don't know this, Arshavin was only loaned to Russia for to win a place for the Euro's. He indicated that his family r settled in London and he wishes to remain there. Should he leave London, it makes sense that he will leave to another London club

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think Dempsey is good enough for a top 4 team, so not good enough if we are to challenge for titles. Id rather use that money to keep RVP. I'd be disappointed if we wasted money and wages on Dempsey.

my source coming from france is that both m villa and giroud are done deals however he has also said that rvp will be leaving as giroud is rvp's replacement

Believable38 Unbelievable23

Those poor kids that have just had v.persie on their new kit.(arsenal.com)

Agree0 Disagree0

And my cat just told me that Messi is coming to arsenal

Agree0 Disagree0

Being on the home kit means nothing remember last season nasri was there than he left

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it half term at school as there seems to have been an increase in the amount of un signed rumours.

Agree0 Disagree0

No way are we getting both. How do you fit: RVP, Girioud, Podolski, Theo and Gervinho?

Billybob

Agree0 Disagree0

Poldi/walcott/gerv rotate girourd up front, rvp playing as bergkamp just behind. enough energy there to compete on all fronts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Giroud and m vila nowhere near done deals m vila wont join

curt

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah i too have tomato sauce

Agree0 Disagree0

Curt shut up Vila is all but done mate iv had very good contacts

Agree0 Disagree0

M'Vila will only sign if France have a poor euro2012. i bet he's just hoping psg, city, utd or chelsea come in with an offer with higher wages if he has a good euro spell. (if we are in negotiations with him) Wenger should have told him if he doesnt sign now and he doesnt get other offers then we'll sign him after the euros on half the current offer. otherwise rot in france

Hopefully thats not the case and he'll just sign. RVP will stay if we sign decent players

Steven N'Zonzi to Arsenal?

Arsenal are now leading the chase for Blackburn star Steven N'Zonzi.

A host of clubs were chasing the Frenchman in January, with Stoke making a move to try and lure him from Ewood Park.

Blackburn stood firm and the player was happy to stay until the summer and help with Rovers' battle against relegation.

But it now seems that N'Zonzi is ready to move on at the end of the season, with a host of clubs ready to do battle.

Bordeaux wants Marouane Chamakh back

Bordeaux admit they are struggling to begin talks with Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh over a potential return to the club.

The French outfit are keen to bring the Moroccan back after he made over 200 appearances between 2003 and 2010.

Chamakh has failed to break into the Gunners first team since his move to the Emirates in May 2010 and has mainly been restricted to substitute appearances this season.

He made a blistering start to his career with the North London club, scoring 10 goals in 21 league and cup appearances, but has scored just twice since.

Bordeaux are looking re-sign the 27-year-old when the transfer window reopens but president Jean-Louis Triaud admits it has been a difficult process.

He said: "In the last two months I have been leaving messages with Marouane. I also left messages with Arsene Wenger but I got no answer.

"His silence shows probably that he still hopes he will make it at Arsenal."
