Any chance you could clarify the current position surrounding Coutinho please? A lot of reports saying that he's visited the training ground already, agreed personal terms, some say loan and some say permanent deal including Guendouzi bla bla. Interested to hear what you know.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of anything changing or being agreed at present. I saw someon say last night that he had been at the training ground yesterday afternoon, but he was in Munich training yesterday. There may well be an agreement with Kia about the terms of any offer but he is still working to try and get Arsenal to buy Joelson Fernandes (who he cannot legally represent at this time). So at this time I am not aware of any change in the situation Glenn.}

No problem Ed that's great, thank you. Regardless of talent and potential the figures being touted for JF are extortionate. Unless its a very well negotiated deal at a fraction of the price then I don't even know why Arsenal are entertaining it.

I get that but if its not financially sensible then do the bosses not just say I'm sorry but it isn't happening end of story? Seems like they just bend over at do as their told atm.

It's seems to me kia is the boss on new signings Glen mate so there is nothing disagree about, we get who kia brings in because that's the role the club have agreed with him carry out.
Well at least that's what I can make of things.

The chief exec and the Head of football, do they not have a say in the matter? Raul has quite an influence or transfers doesn't he? Or do transfers now start and end with Edu. If that's the case and he's got Kia dictating to him then fair enough but surely Vinai and Raul can disagree, especially if financially it doesn't make sense?

Obviously there is a plan and a hierarchy, I'm just not sure if anyone actually understands it or how it all works :-)
