Apparently Arsenal are looking to sign Mario Gotze from Bayern Munich this summer. Gotze's agent stated recently that Gotze lacked support at Bayern. Gotze has struggled to make an impression at Bayern after scoring the winning goal in the World Cup Final, and may be looking for a move elsewhere.

I don't think Arsenal are looking at him, I think the press think Arsenal are looking at him.
The elephant in the room is; where would he play? It doesn't make that much sense.

We are being linked with a lot of Chileans all of a sudden. This guy could be a decent enough signing as he's probably not going to be too expensive (right?), he won't necessarily waste a lot of hard work and morale by immediately taking Coquelin's spot, he can play almost anywhere in midfield (he has ball winning & distribution qualities and can score goals) and he's not one for the future - he's at an age to immediately start competing for pitch time. He never crossed my mind but the more I think about it, the more he seems like a good fit.
I don't know too much about this guy but he puts in an impressive performance everytime that I see him play, his statistics are good and he is attracting a fair amount of interest around Europe.

Heard this morning that were thinking of a £42m bid for higuain and also gotze agent saying he's unhappy with the way Munich have treated him and were intrested. Obviously all top sides in Europe will want he's services. Can you shed any light on these and who's in for both players

No offense mate, but someone asks the eds every day about Higuain, everyone has heard it and even I am getting tired of the eds having to respond again so in all due respect RTFP. And btw Benzema would be way better and we are getting neither (to save you some time)

Just to add fuel to the fire, for the annoyance of Bergooner, Tancredi Palmeri of beIN Sports claimed yesterday that we have made a 45m Euro bid for Higuain. Make of it what you will, but it's probably drivel.
