I'm told that Arsenal want to announce 3 new players the day we leave for the Asia tour as a publicity stunt. Adding together rumours and hints I've been given I'd guess these are Cesar, Higuain and Fellaini (?)

Do we leave on Friday? If so that might be the day.

There will be no signings untill after the asia that I am sure of

I believe we leave Thursday and our first game is 14th July. Could be leaving Friday but I don't think so.

More importantly I would literally be speechless, amazed and fall off my seat if we signed three players (or announced them) before our Asian tour.

Just can't see it.

Not sure if this is relevant but remember Santi wasn't announced straight away, but he was still on the plane for the Pre-season tour and only insiders knew about it.

Surely they would have done this today with the launching of the new away kit you know how our board think CHURR-CHING!

More like an obscure german kid, an obscure spanish kid and another obscure french kid.

Utter Nonsense, your living in cloud cuckoo land i'm afraid! We are not getting Rooney, Fabregas, Suarez or Gonalons for that matter either! Will be lucky to even get Higuain. We need David Dein back to deal with transfers, our current negotiating team are shocking!

Their first game is Sunday 14th July so they are leaving Thursday.

Either way, there will be no signings before then.

Can't helping thinking this rumour has been generated by wishful thinking from the fans- a bit like the away kit unveiling.

Wouldn't get your hopes up tbh.

No biggie or particularly exciting but Bendtner will be gone by the end of the week.

We're about to lose the best player in the world (copyright N. Bendtner) and you say it's no biggie?

Player swap for higuain, maybe ronaldo?

Anything related to Bendtner leaving is front page news!

Shoot me down. I think he's a good player, and given a chance in position could score plenty for us. Not saying he's better than who we're linked with, but if we ultimately are left buying some gervinho type when the big names sign for other clubs, i'd rather keep the big man.

I saw a post like this in 2011 and 2012.

Apparently Arsenal are unveiling a huge publicity stunt today. Probably to do with the away kit launch. A lot of talk about the stunt being the kit and Higuain announcement together. We should find out at 3. 30 today. Fingers crossed.

It could be gareth barry. hahah

They have changed the Jerseys of all the players on the Stadium Facade.

That is the special unveiling.

I suspect this is a rumour generated by wishful thinking fans-

obviously I hope I'm wrong, but come 3. 30pm we're probably just see a new kit.

Sad to say, but I rarely get my hopes up anymore and when/if something does happen its a pleasant surprise.

Higuain will not be on the picture if that's what you think

I've just seen pictures of want they have done! They put up new mural around the emirates, just changing one of the outside pictures of old legends 2 a new of 6 arsenal players wearing the new away kit! Which is out on the 1st August! ( Aaron Ramsey, Carl Jenkinson, Jack Wiltshere, Theo Walcott, The OX and Gibbs!).

I think it could be more than just the changing of the mural on the emirates or I hope it would be. The head of the Arsenal PR team tweeted that they had an Audacious Stunt planned that had taken months to prefer, so god only knows what it could be. Bayern did a similar type of then went down like a lead ballon. Hope we have more success with it.

If its not a player, no one will give a crap. we don't want to see any shiny mural. we want a player who can win us a shiny trophy. anyway 30 mins for some major disappointment.

If its audacious and took months to preparr its either going to be announcement of 1 or more signings or some stupid pr stunt that will ridicule the fans. Getting our hopes up with silly audaciousness

Does anyone care anymore they think we do I for one won't buy another kit go to another game till we start showing some ambition! What about everyone else?

I hope anyone didn't have their hopes too high regarding a new player. some of us did try to warn you.

Well the one new bit of news I've got 2day was there is 3 new kits! The yellow away which I've know about 4 months now, a new black goalkeeper kit which will b the home one. Had seen a picture of this the other day, I thought it was the away gkeeper kit but oh no its purple! It's all on the arsenal shopping bit online! At £50 a shirt, wenger best spend some money!
