We're clearly not going to pay him what he wants otherwise the contract would have been signed.
Kroenke and Wenger have no qualms with selling our best players to our rivals so it's a done deal for me.

With a year to go we are in weak position, as we saw in the past when we had to sell the line of RVP and Nasri to rivals. It's better to get a large transfer fee for a player than risk him going to rivals on a free in a years time. The important thing is to bring in a top quality replacement and improve the squad in general. The two players I would like if Sanchez departs are Costa and Bale. Costa up top, with Bale on the left would be awesome.

I doubt he will be allowed to go to City but if he is and he does then I hope Arsenal fans will give him a brilliant reception when he comes to the Emirates, he's given more to our club in 3 seasons than most of the tram have put together over a decade.
Let's not be bitter let's be appreciative of all he's given us and respect the fact he just wants to achieve things we can't offer him at Arsenal.

The club wouldn't be stupid enough to do that as selling your best player to a rival such as man city with what has gone in the past and if you don't get a top quality replacement is just going to cause tension with fans before there season has started if he's going it would be abroad think a deal with Bayern for Costa and 20 - 30 mill and getting in a top striker would soften the blow imo.

The lad wants £350K per week and is not budging on any lower offers that are on the table. At least this is the information us fans have. So I'm not sure how this isn't about the money.
I get that footballers careers are limited but I truly dislike the fact that some players come to us to have their bruised egos reinflated. He was almost forgotten at Barcelona before Arsenal resurrected his career. He may have been our best player over the last few seasons but the lad has no loyalty. Reminds me of a certain Dutchman who we stood by for years while he was constantly injured. He then finally has one good season and decided to jump ship.

please do not compare sanchez to rvp. sanchez owes us nothing he did well at Barcelona but neymar meant he wanted to go play.
we have offered him big money but he wants to win things. he will earn top top money where ever he goes. its that simple.

Derby, that's your opinion of the situation. Just 65 appearances in his 3 year stint at Barcelona tell me a different story. Again, that's just my opinion.

Sanchez made 54 appearances for Barcelona in his last season, 141 in 3 years, 88 in La Liga.

Soccerbase stats seem to be way off, you're right Babyburger. Other stats I've looked at show 122 games played for Barcelona with just 86 starts. Compared to 143 played for Arsenal with 133 starts.
From the stats I've seen, he managed on average 1700 minutes per season with Barcelona and about 4000 minutes per season with Arsenal. This of course is inclusive of all cup games.
