its very rare arsenal buy early. they have already spoke to higuain, they only asked liverpool about the services of Suarez it was not a bid. they are playing games with real madrid trying to keep the price down, as they haven't sorted out a price yet. this is what I think is going on so hopefully we get higuain and not the chap from villa? PLEASE NO.

According to most reports (and they can't all be wrong), the problem with the transfer of Higuain and Fellaini is that Arsenal simply refuse to meet the asking price. Assuming we are talking about a few extra million (when we supposedly have 70M to spend) this is a drop in the ocean compared to failing to qualify for the Champions League - why are Arsenal so stubborn because at the end of the day this could cost us dearly!

Doesn't make sense. Why ask about the services of Suarez who would minimum cost 35 mill, to make Madrid think we won't up our 23 mill bid for higuain. If anything that would go against us as it says we have the money?! Buy early or you are stuck with second rate players all for the sake of penny pinching! Been here before, I have no confidence in arsenal when it comes to spending money! Sw18 gooner

Uhh. is that supposed to reassure us? Citing Arsenal's past transfer methods is anything but reassuring. Waiting until all of the good players are bought by other teams and buying budget players because their contracts are either expired or near expiring isn't something that makes me not worry.

We missed out on countless players with this micro, micro negotiating nonsense like Mata, Hazard, Vertonghen, etc.
