PLOT TWIST:
Why Arsenal have refuse to active buy-back
option?

When we sold Cesc to Barca for £36 million
we inserted more than 2 clauses. First one
was buy back option. Second 50% sell of
player and last one was if Barcelona win
Champions league Arsenal will get another
1.5 million. Which won’t happen now.
Now I’ll come to main point. Why Arsenal
have refused to active buy-back option? I’ll
tell you why but first let's go through second
clause. If Arsenal don’t want to sign player
Barcelona will sell to other club and there
are numbers of clubs are chasing Cesc.
Currently as we heard Chelsea are leading to
sign Cesc and we also heard Chelsea have
made bid around £33 million.

if Barca decide to sell Fabregas to Chelsea,
Arsenal will get 50% of £33 million that’ll be
£16.5 million. Personally I don’t see
Barcelona selling Cesc for 16.5 they are
waiting for Arsenal to make bid which
Arsenal won’t.

Now here is what I think will happen. Arsenal
definitely wants to sign Fabregas but not for
£33 million. Arsenal are waiting for
Barcelona to accept offer from any club.
Then Arsenal will make last minute ditch
offer which will be more than what
Barcelona are getting for example if Barca
decide to sell player for £33 million. Barca
will get £16.5 million and then Arsenal might
try for around 18-20 million. Barca won’t
have any choice but to sell Cesc to Arsenal.

Although I agree with you about Fabregas returning to arsenal, your information on the buy back clause is completely wrong. Arsenal will receive 50% of any profit Barcelona make on cesc.

Have you got another pair of rose tinted specs mate

3.) 06 Jun 2014
As much as I like your thinking, that is not the 2nd clause, the 50% sell on is after the set amount we can buy him back for which I believe is 25m, so if Chelsea make an offer off 33m we will get 50% which will mean we get 4m, make sense? Barca won't be that bothered about a couple of million

I was thinking the same, I am hoping Arsene will do a Jose, like what happend with Demba Ba. In terms that think they might have the player and last minute they lose out and do not sign the much needed replacement for Lampard! I can always hope!

Haven't any of you taken in anything that Ed002 has said? There is no buy back clause. There is only a right of first refusal where Arsenal can match an acceptable bid made my another club, but have no interest in doing so. You are living in a fantasy land.

Hoping there's a Lukaku twist in there somewhere

7.) 06 Jun 2014
Would any of eds please confirm that the mentioned second clause is true?

{Ed027's Note - load of bollocks mate, we don't want or need Cesc, he was amazing for us, but poor te past 3 seasons, Barca fans just don't think he's good enough, with good reason.

That moment when you think you spotted something that nobody else has and write a long post about it.

.

But it's nonsense.

Jose is the master of 'stirring the pot', especially against teams he fears - which I believe he fears us for the title next season - IF Cecs was a REAL target for Chelsea, the selling of Mata, makes no sense, Chelsea have too many players of the same calibre. However the problem for Arsene is who dose not play if we buy him back, as Santa, Ozil, Jack and The Ox and Ramsey all will play major roles/minutes. Arsene still loves Diaby and Arteta and let's not forgot Flamini and our new raising star Zelalem - so IF Cesc is happy to be a role player - maybe cup games and the odd home bankers, why would he really come back to us, we have moved on. UNLESS he changes his game to be more defensive minded, which as he is getting older could be a possibility. I for one hope NOT to see him in another English team shirt, so I hope he remembers he is a GOONER. But I remember saying the same thing about a previous number 4 captain.

Sammy Nelson the greatest left back

Barca fans don't think he's good enough 'with good reason'? Please tell me what these good reasons are, I'm interested to know. And we may not want him but I think we need him. If he goes to any other Premiership club it will ultimately make them stronger and us weaker. Granted we have plenty of midfielders, but we were surprisingly short in that department last season when Ozil Wilshere Ramsey Chamberlain and Diaby were all injured at the same time.

Arteta and Flamini won't be at the club for more than two seasons, Diaby is injured more than he plays, Ozil isn't a centre mid.

Fabregas coming back to the club would be a blessing. I can't understand the sense in not bringing somebody back with that much quality who actually wants to play for us.

{Ed027's Note - Use the search engine, and look at Ed001's comments about him

To reply to the post of Gooner Mike:
A lot of Arsenal-fans name Cesc as replacement for Arteta/Flamini. Is that really what we want? Another CMF on the DMF position?

The striker-position and DMF-position are priority this summer. I hope Wenger will choose for a REAL DMF (Bender, Scheiderlin etc.). If Cesc will not return as a DMF, which position will play than? Ramsey and Wilshere are great on CMF and can, potentially, play for us the next 10 years. Ozil and Santi are great for AMF. We don't need Cesc, fans just love to see him at Arsenal again, but its not necessary, especially not for that money.
