Eds any updates on Schneiderlin? A lot reports coming out that he is close to joining Spurs, I hope not!

Seems like we're going to miss out on him, damn.

I assume Bender interest is gone, is there any interest in Carvalho still after we enquired about it?

I think if the rumours about kadira lowering his wage demands are true then we are working on that deal behind the scenes and he will be our final signing, all views are my own

I don't believe we are currently looking for a defensive midfield player. We will use Arteta, Flamini, Wilshere & possibly Abu Diaby or Ramsey in the two defensive midfield roles. I would have liked to have seen Arteta & Flamini replaced with Schneiderlln & Khedira, but neither will happen.
