Hi ed's, I never trust tabloids especially the red top ones. My question is is there any truth in these rumours that we've launched a £28mil bid for Morata? I know about the Madrid buy-back clause etc. Thanks.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about a specific bid essex but there have been talks about his availability, £28m will not be near enough to get him though mate..

I am not too impressed by Morata's scoring record. Is he much better than Giroud?

What was Henry's scoring record like pre Arsenal?
With Ozil supplying the amount of quality chances he does its difficult to imagine a .
decent finisher not getting 20+ pl goals and an excellent finisher 30 +
Olly is a good player but extremely wasteful in front of goal.

What I like about morata that he always score the important goals, his scoring record might not be great, but he certainly knows where to be in the box and he can hit the target. I've watched him play many times and always looked dangerous. I think Juve opt to go with dybala instead of him as first choice because that kid is a brilliant footballer and mandz for his experience. However I think he will be a great addition to arsenal and he will be scoring loads of goals and I pesonally think morata is a great move.

Moratas goal:game ratio is not particularly impressive, but I read somewhere that if you convert it to goals:minutes played, he boasts something like a goal every 102 mins (nearly a goal a game) . As Moe also mentioned, he is a BIG game player. He scored the winning goal the other week vs Milan in the Italian cup, as well as scoring vs Madrid and Barcelona in the semis and final of the UCL.

From what I had heard of him before I'd ever really seen him play my first thought was that he would be similar to Giroud - how wrong was I. He's technically gifted, a great finisher and header of the ball, and for his stature is surprisingly really fast! is a similar striker to Kane imo.

{Ed025's Note - better than kane imo colney..

He reminds me of javier hernandez at united, never a prolific scorer but he scored goals when it mattered most. I'd like him at arsenal but I think anywhere over £30mil is taking a risk :/.

Agree with Colney and Bandit.

It's very very hard to strikers that acn be strong, fast and technical.

Think Ledanowski types (not saying they are the same) .

Morata can also be versitile which Wenger likes.

Think away to west brom during christmas fixtures.
Sanchez - Giroud - Morata.

Somewhere in there we can find at least one goal.
