lacazette and mahrez nearly done apparently but it seems like giroud will leave i'd rather we keep him he's a good player to have on the bench especially with sanchez, perez linked with moves away hopefully we can shift walcott.

If we allow Walcott, Ox, Giroud and Gibbs to leave. With the risk that Bellerin, Ospina and Szczesny could also all be off. We could have problems filling the gaps. After Lacazette and Mahrez (if true) we will need to focus on GK but we could have a real problem at RWB.

Keep Walcott and Perez.

Probably our 2 best finishers behind Sanchez.

I love Theo but hasn't progressed at all. Would have the ok over him any day, would love him to stay.

{Ed025's Note - both underachievers for me magpie, it would be best for all parties if they moved on imo mate, they have both gone a bit stale and would benefit with a new start somewhere else, arsenal can use the money to bring in some new blood to freshen things up so its win win for me mate..

I'm with dags on this one. Theo scored something like 20 goals this season. There might be better players around, but not many who could score that many from the bench. Every team needs a Solksjaer. Lucas also barely got a chance but put in a shift and had great end product. We might need star billing, but we also need depth.

I think that by now if Theo was going to make his mark it would of happened. I think he makes a great back up and gives the squad some depth. I can't see him improving any other clubs in the PL except that he may be playing more regularly for some. Certainly not the top six.
I don't think Perez has been given enough slack. I thought he loooked a decent player when he turned out.
Back on Wilshires case again. I don't understand this debate over him. What is this year in year out 'Love In'' with Arsenal and Wiltshire? . I just don't get it. Same with Ramsey too.

They need to go imo. A good example of a winning mentality is Rio Ferdinand - he sounds insanely arrogant but that's the difference, Alexis Sanchez is of that mould also. I just don't feel Walcott has the aggression to take it to the next level and I do want to see him do well, but I think that'll happen away from Arsenal as he needs a reality check. We had a very bad season and we need to go back to the drawing board with as little emotion as possible.

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

maybe i'm missing something with theo i'm not sure. I do feel only fresh eyes from a new managers can sort the dead wood out. too much faith at present.

Don't understand the Walcott hate on this page.

Theo undoubtedly was our second best player last year, only behind alexis.

He started the season on fire and yeh his performances stuttered after Christmas but that's because suddenly he wasn't starting half the time.

Imagine being dropped on what is your best season at a club and people wonder why his performances dropped.

Bear in mind he scored 19 goals in 29 starts and came on as a sub 10 times. That's an incredible return off a winger who's constantly slated by his own 'fans'.

Some people seem to be judging his performances off this expectations of him being the next Henry from when he signed for us at 16.

I would let Walcott go, because he cost to much with his 100k salary. He is not a game changer, lack intesity in his play, he hardly ever win a ball back and tend to have sloppy passing. I rather keep Perez, i think has some of same intesity alexis have. I hope he could get some more game time before we throw him out him.

I'm with dags.
I do think Theo has underperformed, but can't sniff at a 20 goal bench player.

As for the ox, he's had a lot less game time than most - often from the bench or hauled off early. When he's been given a run of games gets better. Our most direct runner behind Sanchez and showed incredible versatility last season. Plus he's only 23. For me, we've got to keep him at all costs.
