Is it true though? If so it would be incredible but it doesn't sound like us at all, because we'd have gone from the premier leagues most cautious spenders to the 2019s super spenders in a week.

Apparently following an analysis of our season it was agreed that we need more pace in attack, especially in away games. So that's why we're still looking at zaha.

Well if Emery decides it's all about attack first second and third with defence coming in a poor 4th so be it, it's his call and if it pays off he gets all the plaudits.
Keegan tried to score his way to a tittle and it almost came off but was ultimately ran out of luck, and that Newcastle defence wasn't awful by any means either but in the end the heavy bias on attack cost them.

Just can’t see us in for Zaha again! But then who predicted club record on Pepe! Tierney plus centre back seems the obvious but Arsenal at the moment not doing the obvious . Maybe a cb on loan for season with Saliba back next year COYG.

Loans are better than nothing of course but if get a partner who compliments Papa really well on loan it would put us back to square one next season sutely.

Don’t forget that last season we had two defenders out injured for a large part of the season.
We could line up: Bellerin Sokratis Hokding and Tierney. Not bad at all.

Belerin and Holding are still injured aren't they? and Tierney is a Celtic player still.
Not being funny but even if that back 4 were all Arsenal players and fully fit it's hardly a proven defence that will keep premier league strikers awake a night worrying about how to get past them.
Berlin and Papa both have full premier league seasons behind them while Holding has only ever played small bits of seasons and Tierney is 100% untested in the premier league at all.
I'm not saying this back 4 couldn't possibly work only that, A it doesn't currently exist as a possibility and B until we actually whiteness them playing together it's only a possible good back 4 in some people's minds.
2 weeks to Newcastle and we are going to have find a back 4 that both exist and are all fit somehow.

No problems G62 as we’ve said before we will never agree on certain things, I can’t support The Arsenal with logic, always prefer the heart to the head . True the back four are fit and ready but I think I could join the half empty thinkers if that was the best we have for the season. Confident in Tierney, which you’ve been confident and positive too, and so the sooner we can get Hector Papa Holding Tierney together the better. If we get the cb Ed02 has said we’re after happy days 😀 COYG.

Arsenal’s aim is to get CL not win the title. We’d like too but that’s not realistic. We have a CB coming in next season so right now instead of throwing what we have on any old CB for this season, Emery seems to be doing what Liverpool did before VD. Just go all out attack and try score more. Chambers hasn’t look half bad pre season so will cover til holdings back and don’t forget Kos is still on our books so until he’s sold, I’m sure he’ll play him. Then we have Solokratis who I personally think is pretty important to this current team. Emery is currently trying to loan a CB too which will hopefully push Mustafi out who’s just not CL quality.
