“ Under fire Arsenal star demands a two year extension on his £120k a week deal”

I wouldn’t pay you 12p bud. Go back to Chelsea - that’s the way you improve us the most.

Please please please - let him go. Please Ed tell me we aren’t entertaining a Luiz contract extension.

If a philatelist us a stamp collector - what is a collector of sub-par defenders?

{Ed002's Note - This one year deal has const Arsenal between £24M and £25M and common sense would dictate another year would ease the financial pain the club inflicted on itself last year. My understanding is that Arteta would be open to David staying and unless he can get his preferred return to Benfica I would expect him to also want to stay another year. The decision will be made within the next two weeks.}

Hi Ed, Luis agent said that arsenals structure will be sorted soon. Is he referring to the structure which you have been telling this page for months?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what he has said about Arsenal's structure, sorry.}

That’s just stupid / I totally agree with Keown

Martin Keown has admitted he is concerned over Mikel Arteta's persistent backing of calamity defender David Luiz

Luiz's contract is due to expire at the end of this month, but Arsenal look set to tie him down to a one-year extension.

And Keown is in disbelief that Arteta is putting more faith in the player, who has struggled at the club since his signing by former boss Unai Emery.

"I would never have signed the player in the first place, " Keown told talkSPORT. "But he's there and he [Arteta]'s got to make the most of it.

But it is worrying that Arteta is backing a player who probably isn't quite good enough, I think there's no doubt about that. I don't want to humiliate the player further, we all have bad performances, but it's one after another. "

Simple really mate would you rather Pay £25 million for a player for 1 year or about £26.5 million and have him for two years.

Thanks buddy, sometimes looking at a club as a football team will have you wondering wtf are they thinking, but really a football club is just another business and should be viewed and operated as such.
