Hello Eds,
There are some reports surfacing of interest from Arsenal in Wout Weghorst from Wolfsburg. Is he a player that we are keen to bring in?

{Ed002's Note - I don’t know but he would be an odd choice. He is an old fashioned CF and I assume a Lacazette replacement. He was considered by West Ham as the Andy Carroll replacement before they opted for Heller. He is not particularly mobile so I doubt he would suit Arsenal. I will try and check.}

I can see this happening if laca goes. Relatively cheap at £30ish m
Strong character, more mobile and quicker than you think, good at linking play and finishing. Similar profile to vardy and giroud and very determined. Could be a success if he did come.

6 foot 7 great workrate and presses really intelligently from CF. More than just a target man 🙂.

Kcider, he's like the next Peter Crouch! Like Ed said he's a very old fashioned centre forward which maybe teams like West Ham and Burnley would consider for their style of play. Do we need a slow target man? It would be interesting to see but I can't see that being Arteta's vision for a ST either if I'm honest.
