Hello Ed002,

SSN have just reported that Mhki had joined Roma on a permanent deal after Arsenal cancelled his contract. Does that mean we haven't even agreed a fee for him and just let him go? Surely we should of accepted something rather than nothing?

Many thanks.

{Ed002's Note - So Arsenal reject a €10M offer for Mkhitaryan because they wanted €30M and then end up letting him walk away after Roma stepped back and started talking to a club about another player. Arsenal could not deal with his wages back on the books so agreed with Mino that the way forward was to all agree to the cancellation of his contract.}

Jesus. 1m a month saved on his wages but 10m would of been nice on top.
Cheers Ed.

Thanks Ed. I thought a proposed offer of £15m a year was a bit ott haha.

Oh well at least it's brought a close to a bad romance for both parties.
If we'd accepted City's 60 million for Sanchez in the summer window f 2017 rather than United's Miki for Sanchez offer the following January 2018 none this situation wouldn't be happening.
Giving Mesut 350k a week and accepting Miki for Sanchez rather than 60 million, makes losing out Roma's 10 million look like good business given the clubs previous economic record.

Absurd. But better than being stuck with him.

Club is a mess. 10m was a decent bid in any world never mind C.V. world. Idiots.

Hang your heads in shame Arsenal powers that be - big on balls but small in brain.

Pretty sure the bid was before C.V. Still should've accepted it.

That may be one of the funniest, most Arsenally things I've read in ages Ed002. We are such a mess.
