Hi Ed’s a few reports are saying we have had an opening bid of 51m pounds for victor osimhen have you heard anything, thanks ed and have a great day ☺️.

{Ed002's Note - The figure was €60M and it would never be acceptable.}

Didn't Napoli buy him for more than that a couple of years ago? What a stupid offer by us.

Hello Ed, do you know what fee Napoli are asking for? Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Victor Osimhen (S) Napoli made it clear to Chelsea who enquired just before the last summer transfer window closed that even €100M would not buy the player. Chelsea and Manchester United maintain an interest but he would not be first choice for either. Real Madrid could look to him as an option to Haaland. Manchester City interest has gone. Bayern Munich, Arsenal and PSG have all sent scouts and all will be looking to add strikers next summer but Napoli are already saying €110M and want a sealed bid auction completed in time for Napoli to conduct business. Arsenal had a €60M offer rejected. Seen as a possible Harry Kane replacement by Antonio Conte. Newcastle interest will go nowhere. Milan has an interest and an influx of money coming - may prove to be an option. You can likely rule out clubs not in the Champions League. Lazio may well block any move this summer but already have a replacement in mind.}

Thanks Ed. No CL biting Arsenal as expected or in your words, making recruitment difficult.

Realistically, how many players do you expect to see coming in at Arsenal this summer? Appreciate that player sales will play a factor.

Liverpool with Nunez. City with Haaland, Utd with CR7, Spurs with Kane etc. Arsenal really need to find a gem unless they can convince someone to join without CL and pay huge fees.

{Ed002's Note - I cannot guess at the number of arrivals.}

Hi, Ed. I noticed you wrote pretty much the same about Osimhen on the European pages, including the Lazio part. I assume you mean Napoli, but still I am curious if it's not a mistake?

{Ed002's Note - No it is a mistake.}

HE is a player that I like the look of but I do think he may be a bit overpriced at the value they are asking for (€100 million I believe I read)

I know Halland had a release clause, but with Nunez going to Liverpool for a reported €75 million upfront and then add ons is €60 Million really that much of a low ball offer to start out at?

I don't know much about Napoli and what they are like if transfer negotiations or if they have a need to sell, Ed do you know if they are a club that usually soften their stance on transfer values, or do you believe that they will hold out for the €100 million fee they have asked for and rather not sell for less?

Also ed I know you have written before about Jonathan David I was just wondering, he doesn't seem to linked with anyone at the moment, do you know if clubs interest in him has gone?

{Ed002's Note - Napoli are difficult to deal with. There is plenty of interest from others in David.}

Hampshire, Napoli priced Kouliabily at €100m for a few seasons and never budged when he was playing at his peak.
