I imagine it is disheartening Sally but the player only has his attitude and performances to blame for that. Do I think he's being played to his strengths? No, far from it. However, he has to be the one to show the eagerness, willingness and confidence to learn and be the best he can be.
His talent is up there with the best of them but he needs to show he is capable of playing in arguably the best league in the world.

To be fair to the player glenn I think his attitude has been fine he’s never moaned or slagged the manager off never been to the press and talked poop he’s always took being on the bench fine it’s just his performances, I thought he was going to be a good player for us.

His performances are part of his attitude tho VM mate, that’s what separates the better players. I’ve lost count of the games where’s he’s been brought on and backed by the manager to have an impact and he’s been inept, that’s solely on him because he could be chasing back hard and putting himself through the pain barrier if he wanted, he just doesn’t feel like he has to and that’s the problem.
He’s never shown he’s trying to turn his form around with hard graft, it’s like he wants his strengths played to so that he doesn’t have to over exert himself.
You can forgive a good player who’s form is out but not someone who relies on others to do it for him.
And that’s been the message with Arteta to be fair, he doesn’t suffer passengers.

100% agree with Shambo. Just because you sit quietly with a smile that doesn't mean your attitude is up to scratch. He comes on and looks like he cba and causally jogs around as if we're 4 nil up. Even if that was the case he should still be busting a gut. There us no urgency with him and if he really tried he could be something at Arsenal, even now.
