I'm getting edgy about the Higuain talk, can't help but think it's all a smokescreen and we'll end up with someone nowhere near as good as what we need. Hope I'm wrong.

ok, unless your guess is that it's all publicity to appease us fans?

I don't believe so, not this window- 1) because I genuinely believe the club has turned a corner financially and 2) the backlash would be immense this time, I honestly don't think they would risk it.

The dreaded smokescreen! How do clubs ever get around to making actual transfers with them working so hard on these smokescreens.

I'm beginning to think life is one big smokescreen for death. Deep man.
