Good show by youngsters, well impressed by eisfeld always looks composed, zelelam and Olson need time to progress and need to beef up, gnabry and akpom looked quality and aneke looked a powerhouse would be a good understudy to an experienced defensive mid, the ox looked good in the middle and his burst of pace was frightening for a well taken goal by theo. podolski rosicky and giroud and kosci all looked the biz, but a bit worried by the right backs, if Sagna goes then jenkinson isn't the finished article yet, looks hurried in his play. Left backs Gibbs and Miguel looked solid. Could have been double figures if jack got in the act, but nevertheless a wins a win.
Wenger will definitely need to buy a quick powerful defensive mid for stronger opposition a forward to support giroud and a right back if Sagna goes. I would personally buy richards capoue and higuain, the first two can cover centre half.
Apart from that we have depth with quality youngsters coming through.

I hope Wenger does not use these matches against menial opposition to assess his squad. Man U might have lost 1- 0 and Man city 2-0 but if it was Arsenal vs Man U or Arsenal vs city, it would have been a different proposition.
